  1. Dropped my 3w and went with a 17* Apex UW and 4h. UW for off the tee and for longer 2nd shots without a lot of trouble. And the 4h for greens at 200 or a touch more. I played a 7w for a little bit too, but noticed I never took it out when accuracy was needed.
  2. Congrats to those selected. Looking forward to the reviews.
  3. I like Nike, but their sizing can be finicky. Some I wear my normal size that I've worn in Nike's for years and others I have to size up a full size. They're very good if you can find a pair that fits well. I have a pair of Asics that I like a lot. Comfortable and easy for walking. I have a tendency to destroy my left golf shoes. I put serious pressure on the sole and they detach often. It's happened to Nike, FootJoy, Asics, and New Balance. I'd like to find one that holds up well.
  4. I have improved a great deal over the past few years and have a better understanding of my game. I put in time on the course or range every week. And I have the ability to gather data from my home simulator. I do well when having a goal and deadlines to meet. Reviewing a product is exactly the type of motivation I get excited for with my golf game. I'm at a point where I understand what certain equipment can do for me. I know I don't have the post count you're looking for, but I will test, review, and answer questions to the best of my ability and be available on the forum. Pictures and videos are not a problem.
  5. I have 2 bags. A cart bag and an ultralight carry bag that can still hold 14 clubs. I'll switch out my clubs based on what I'm doing at the course. Cart bag is for full rounds riding or pushing. It holds more stuff and is easier to manage all 14 clubs. Carry bag is for walking 9 or the range. It'll hold 14, but it can get tight. But it barely weighs anything and is very comfortable while walking. It only takes a minute to move the clubs over and I have everything I'll need in each bag. A hybrid bag could do everything I need, but I like having the option to switch if I want to.
  6. I'm a Shotscope user. I've used the H4 GPS tracker for about a year now and it's been eye opening. It showed me my game in raw numbers and where I need to improve. I always thought my short game and putting was ok. The data showed they're my worst areas and it's actually my tee game that's my best. That's the opposite of how I would have described my game based on my own perspective. One feature I love about the tracking is the Performance Average. The system will take into account your quality shots as well as all the bad and give the yardage for a good strike. That's great because averaging in tops and shanks shows real world results, but lowers the number to an unrealistic number if you were to make solid contact.
  7. I chose the Forged Tec X because i believe it fits my needs and game the best. I love the topline look of a players irron, but i need the forgiveness of a game jmprovement iron. I think this is the best of both worlds. I also made them 1*weaker to come closer to matching my current set. Adam/Baton Rouge, LA Ping G 19.7 according to SwingU Of course. I'd love to help anyone on the forums.
  8. Congrats @Rickp! I was pumped to finish in the top 10. Thought I had a chance for a minute. Hope you get something cool.
