  1. I work part time as a fitter. Sure places like club champion may offer lots and lots of options. The problem that I see is that the average golfer (defined as someone that does not break 100) has almost no benefit to getting fit. They are not consistent enough, or good enough for a fitting to even be accurate.

They do just as well, and save a ton of coin buying off the rack. The only exception being those are are out of the norm tall or short.

This push to get fit is in my opinion industry driven to sell you on upgrades that most see not benefit from so that they can make huge margins. It is not till you are around at 10 handicap that a fitting really produces any kind of noticeable results.

  3. The reason he does not play anymore is a very large insurance policy that made it so he would never have to work again. Why grind and travel and all of that if you do not have to and still have millions in the bank? He was a fun kid to watch. A perfect example of a flash in a pan. A star that burned bright but not long.

It is pretty well known that he was a bigger fan of partying than playing golf as well.

I’ve given up on these two guys. Used to enjoy their content. But now it’s as if Rick is tip toeing around not to make OEM’s mad, and Mark... has gotten a little crazy as he aged. I don’t like goofball stuff, and that is what I see.

Plus marks short game is that of a 20 handicap.
