  1. I was looking at the 365 originally before the XDS, it was very gray if the XDS was going to get approved in MA for purchase and then it did and a relative out of state transferred one. I will take the $25 transfer fee, saved alot of money. If I were going for another carry I would go the 365 just because its so small, perfect carry. Wish the Glock43 was Massachusetts compliant. The coyote color on the 365 is
  2. I had a shield for while really enjoyed it but man the XDS is a landslide better. I carry at 4 oclock and a round in the chamber. I will always carry with something that has a safety on it so am more than comfortable with one in the chamber. I have the 9 round extended mag for it and that is more than enough for me to carry. I know folks say more is better but I am good with the 9.
  3. A little training goes a longggg way. My son has been shooting for some time and is very versatile and safety oriented. Something all people would benefit from.
  4. I really enjoy shooting outside. I would love to become a member at a shooting range at some point especially long range. I would love to just put a dozen rounds down range to get my fix. Don't need to put a ton of brass down. Do your friends have any extra extra meat lol. Do you carry at all?
  5. I love mine and would recommend heading over to the review here:
  6. Definitely a subject that not everyone is into which is fine. I just wanted to get something up that would direct people to a spot. Much like golf, shooting is a whole group in itself that can tinker and build equipment. Such a cool subject.
  7. I agree somewhat on the slow play if its not being dictated by endless searching for a ball or just not paying attention to where your ball went when you hit it. We all know the folks that are losing a lot of balls. Be prepared and bring a lot. I think being ready to drop after 60 seconds of looking would go a longgggg way. 100% agree on your points, I just think some slow play could be avoided with a little attention.
  8. Morning early afternoon folks! @GolfSpy BOS anytime buddy! Got my early morning workout in and walked out to a pleasantly warm morning. Work is very busy right now with some cost containment unfortunately so its a little chaotic. Wish me luck!
  9. Pigeon pose and child's pose are two of my favorite. I end every workout with those two and they open up the hips ALOT! Great article Jamie
  10. I do not have many, I don't care if you walk in my line or talk during my swing, really does not bother me but these two REALLY bother me. -As many have said slow play. I cannot deal with this lol. I am fine if your slapping the ball around, going OB or playing two balls but just be ready to play and don't spend 5 minutes looking for your ball. If you're spraying it just bring a lot of balls and drop one man! -The other is screaming loudly or banging your clubs on the course. First of all I get being frustrated and getting the "rrrrrrr" out but you dont need to be screaming obscenities really loud, do it under your breath. The other damaging the course is my BIGGEST pet peeve. Dont damage it man, its hard enough to maintain.
  11. With a permanent setup I defintiely will be doing that. I will have a designated frame to put it in. Right now I do not have that luxury but I have a general template of where it goes. I do not have a level spot where I am hitting so I have had to rig it a little bit, it works great but it definitely takes a little time.
  12. Great setup guys! You can always start your own thread if you want to and add to it over time! Can be a lot of fun to see how the bag changes year to year!
  13. Ah crap! The pretend Navy guy is back Welcome back Alan!
  14. Welcome to the forum and welcome back to golf. I like the pun name. Don’t forget to add a profile picture!
  15. Got a round in today with my neighbor. I said it in my review and I’ll say it again, it’s crucial to set up the MEVO+ correctly. We were both getting very odd pulls almost banana slices on a lot of shots which is not typical for either of us. Even on wedge shots we were getting just odd flights. Was odd because we were hitting well initially. Come to find out the wind blew the tent cover a little and ended up pushing my MEVO a little crooked, just a little cock eyed. We played several holes wondering what was going on. anyway! Plan this week is to try to use an iPad from someone and get a calibration and some heat signatures going. I won’t have the ability to purchase one before the review is up but need to give it the old whirl for the review!
  16. I really enjoy their shirts but I like the under armor pants I’ve got, they fit really well so have not felt the need to jump on the pants yet.
  17. Got a lot in the cart right now with some of their new offerings Golf shirts, kryptonite
  18. Welcome to the forum! Nice setup (can’t wait for the snow to melt). Don’t forget to add a profile picture to your page!
  19. Intention is to get one for sure just taken longer than I’ve wanted it to lol
  20. PSA: if any political discussions take place in this thread they will be hidden and action taken. Please stick to the topic at hand. Hey everybody! It had come up earlier today in the Good morning thread and the staff wanted to come up with a spot dedicated for this discussion. i personally enjoy the few weapons I have. I really love hitting the range, tinkering (not as much as my clubs) with my guns and getting different attachments and builds going. My son thoroughly enjoys using his BB in the yard and I can see him at some point if he wants to, becoming a very good shooter. He already surprises me with his accuracy. I personally do not hunt at this moment but would like to get into it. My current selection is strictly self defense (yes I know I need a shotgun): -9mm Springfield XDS is my carry -I have several diffrent AR builds mostly in 5.56 and .300 BLKOUT this one is my favorite by a landslide, .300 BLKOUT
  21. Got out today for a few swings. Wanted to see how light affected readings. I didn’t have anything missed which is good. Sunlight was just enough I think. I will be out there one of these days and get it to not pick up a reading and get a picture of lighting. But no issues today! I am Definitly missing out on a lot just using the iPhone instead of a tablet or iPad or laptop
  22. Welcome to the forum fellow sailor! What courses have you played? Always looking for folks to get out and get a round in with
