  1. I have absolutely been eyeballing Aimpoint classes. Thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. I am always trying to find a way to improve my putting. I am interested in green reading books from Golflogix and Strackaline. Anyone have any experience with these? Just looking at the product online it seems the Strackaline has more info. The golflogix seem a little simple. I am not so interested in the apps. I dont like to carry my phone onto the green when putting. Feels weird. Really want it for my trip to Pine Needles and Mid Pines this fall. Those Donald Ross greens are tricky. My home course, Hendersonville CC, is also a DR design but the greens are not as penal as the ones PN and MP. Thanks everyone
  3. Clete Hendersonville, NC Playing to a 3. I'm finally getting to play more and practice at least 5 days a week Titleist 712 MB forged blades. I'm 51 now and thinking that I need to try cavity backs. My father played Wilson blades and that is the iron with how I learned to play. I have been pulling for Wilson to make a comeback, and was excited when Gary Woodland won the US Open. I really hope these irons are the real deal. I like to think that I am a detailed oriented person as I am a pharmacist. We don't have a choice but to be detailed about our lives. I also have just joined a club so I am playing all the time now. I would give these irons a real workout.
  4. phazoni I got it off of ebay. there is no link to a true website that carries this marker
  5. Clete Hendersonville NC Vokey SM4 52, 56 Less than a year old. Love them and will be excited to compare to this Cleveland 60
  6. down to a 5 in Hendersonville NC. Just joined a club so I am making my wife mad by always being at he course or the range I play Titleist 712 Mb irons. I also use the Titleist 2 iron 718 T-mb driving iron. I hit my 8 168yds Due to your articles I have been doing a ton of research on Sub 70 irons. I am in the market for a new set by the end of the year and have been reading all the articles, following instagram, and watching vids on youtube. I am a little scared as I really want to get fitted perfectly for this next set (see, I listen to you guys). Therefore I will be hitting up Golf Galaxy an hours away so I can do the fitting as perfectly as possible
  7. clete fugate Hendersonville NC the only gps I have ever used is18 birdies. I have just joined a new club and am learning the yardages. The sprinkler head yardages seem way off. I also use a range finder, but I am TERRIBLE at shooting pins. I end up just shooting near the pin or the front of the green and guestimating
  8. I'm super curious because I find indoor putting practice can be a repetitive bore. Also I am intrigued by their claim of actually allowing for putting on a slope. How is this possible? Slope and speed control? Allowing for different green speeds? Interesting. Misreading slopes and speed control lead to my three putts. I am also interested in the camera showing if the putter face will be open/closed/square. That is also an area I struggle. Clete Hendersonville, NC I practice putting 4-7 days a week, either at the club or with a rollup 15 foot mat in my garage. I also use the Pelz truth board to hone my short putts. Having an indoor putter sim would go a long way towards helping my game, especially in the winter. Regrettably I average ~1.5 three putts a round Thanks
  9. Gotta say, I’m not surprised this was the top rated mallet putter for 2020. The more I use it the more I feel like I’m going to make every putt. I’ve never held a putter that worked so well for me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. best ideas for focused iron range sessions? Short game range sessions? My course has a great range and chipping area. I've read the Pelz short game books, but.... Looking for fresh ideas. I just get bored, and develop bad habits, hitting balls the same way. trying to work on all aspects of my game. You guys are awesome and I really appreciate your input thanks
  11. clete Hendersonville NC rightly 460 ~110 just bought the Tour Edge Exotics and love it, but also just last week joined a club and am wearing them out by hitting a million balls on the range. Oh they are so gonna lose money on this deal lets do this thing!!!
  12. I bought with the Ventus. It feels like I cannot miss with this driver. Love it
  13. Clete North Carolina 6 Taylor Made Rescue Mid TP Workability. Being able to control left or right shots. I've had mine so long because I can control it so well. Also love ease of solid contact from less than ideal lies.
  14. How many crossfitters are there out there? I have been doing it for 4 years and hit the ball farther than ever, at 51yo. Just trying to see if there are any exercises that I need to be doing. I am also trying to keep my back from breaking down. Thats my biggest concern going forward. For those of you that havent tried CF, its a game changer. It makes me feel like an athlete again. Thanks
  15. Well, due to the member testing, and the high rating from y’all I bought it. Love love love it. Crush it too. And the Fujikura shaft is amazing. It feels like a cant miss. I’m back to taking lines I wouldn’t have dated with my old driver Thanks guys! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
