  5. Clete, Hendersonville NC 2 Titleist Volkey Sm7 I've never played one. I've goofed off with a buddies old rusty and was intrigued with its feel. But I have never had the guts to pull the trigger on buying one.
  6. So I purchased the golf logix app for my phone and am super happy with it helping to read the greens. I love seeing the greens directions (arrow and such). I was thinking of buying the book, but have to purchase for each course I play as opposed to just downloading each course for my phone. Anyone have anything new to say about the app? Thank yall
  7. Clete, Hendersonville NC I am a new member at a club, so hope to putt there often. But have an old birdieball three hole 15' mat that was given to me three years ago. As I said I have an old birdieball matt. Fifteen feet three holes. The mat tends to veer to the left, I try to roll the mat opposite each time in hopes it will flatten. Fast 11-13
  8. I have absolutely been eyeballing Aimpoint classes. Thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. I am always trying to find a way to improve my putting. I am interested in green reading books from Golflogix and Strackaline. Anyone have any experience with these? Just looking at the product online it seems the Strackaline has more info. The golflogix seem a little simple. I am not so interested in the apps. I dont like to carry my phone onto the green when putting. Feels weird. Really want it for my trip to Pine Needles and Mid Pines this fall. Those Donald Ross greens are tricky. My home course, Hendersonville CC, is also a DR design but the greens are not as penal as the ones
  10. Clete Hendersonville, NC Playing to a 3. I'm finally getting to play more and practice at least 5 days a week Titleist 712 MB forged blades. I'm 51 now and thinking that I need to try cavity backs. My father played Wilson blades and that is the iron with how I learned to play. I have been pulling for Wilson to make a comeback, and was excited when Gary Woodland won the US Open. I really hope these irons are the real deal. I like to think that I am a detailed oriented person as I am a pharmacist. We don't have a choice but to be detailed about our lives. I also have just joined a club
  11. phazoni I got it off of ebay. there is no link to a true website that carries this marker

  13. down to a 5 in Hendersonville NC. Just joined a club so I am making my wife mad by always being at he course or the range I play Titleist 712 Mb irons. I also use the Titleist 2 iron 718 T-mb driving iron. I hit my 8 168yds Due to your articles I have been doing a ton of research on Sub 70 irons. I am in the market for a new set by the end of the year and have been reading all the articles, following instagram, and watching vids on youtube. I am a little scared as I really want to get fitted perfectly for this next set (see, I listen to you guys). Therefore I will be hitting up
  14. clete fugate Hendersonville NC the only gps I have ever used is18 birdies. I have just joined a new club and am learning the yardages. The sprinkler head yardages seem way off. I also use a range finder, but I am TERRIBLE at shooting pins. I end up just shooting near the pin or the front of the green and guestimating
  15. I'm super curious because I find indoor putting practice can be a repetitive bore. Also I am intrigued by their claim of actually allowing for putting on a slope. How is this possible? Slope and speed control? Allowing for different green speeds? Interesting. Misreading slopes and speed control lead to my three putts. I am also interested in the camera showing if the putter face will be open/closed/square. That is also an area I struggle. Clete Hendersonville, NC I practice putting 4-7 days a week, either at the club or with a rollup 15 foot mat in my garage. I also use the Pelz
