  1. I've been seriously considering making the 90 minute drive to the nearest fitter that carries these and trying a Mezz1 broomstick.  Also curious on trying it out face forward on putts 5' and less. I want to get my 5' range about as good as my 3' range.   I've already improved my putting with the Cobra Agera Armlock by about 3 strokes a round. Would like to see if I can get another 3.

  2. I have used an Orange Whip for tempo and for warming up, not really for speed training.  I have bought a generic speedstick type system, but it was junk and I didn't stick with it. Going into winter when we cannot really golf from October to April, doing something like this which will keep me swinging through winter (along with some putting) will keep my skills sharp. Certainly wouldn't hurt to start next season with 20-30 more yards either.

Did not know what this was all about. I must admit that I have some reservations as I don't see how and why this setup can be preferential to the now standard armlock. I guess we'll see about that! Good luck.

I putt with a 41" Cobra Agera armlock. I am decent with it, but I do recognize that my left wrist tension to keep the armlock tight to my forearm is high, I notice after a while of practice. Occassionally I feel that I don't keep enough of that tension and the grip can come away from my forearm.   I just took my Cobra and held it like they suggest for this and it puts a lot more shaft lean on, but it takes much less wrist tension because the lever/fulcrum point of your left wrist sort of holds the shaft to the outside of your forearm by gravity. I think I could practice more with this style without getting tired.  Essentially making grip strength and fatigue one less variable in your putt.  Now with such a shaft lean, the Agera was too delofted, but I can see the benefit to the style.
