Spalding
Forgive me if this is post belongs under another forum category or in any way is inappropriate. I have an old set of Mac Gregor Jack Nicklaus Muirfield 20th Golf clubs which I’m thinking of selling. I haven’t used them for about 20 years so I find no reason to keep them. I have no clue what to expect and what they might be worth so I’m wondering if there’s anyone who can help shed some light on their approximate used-market value? I bought them from an old friend about 25+ years ago, but I don’t know which year they were manufactured. I read somewhere that these clubs were produced between 1986 and 1991 so I've got a rough idea of their age but it would be interesting to find out exact year of production just out of curiousity. The set consists of nine right-handed clubs (3-9, S and P) and they are fully functional but in used condition. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
Middler
Here’s what various MacGregor Jack Nicklaus Muirfield 20th clubs/sets actually fetched on eBay since the PGA value guide doesn’t show them. Looking at listings for prices isn’t as representative. You weren’t specific re: condition, that’s everything to what they’re worth, and how likely they are to sell. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Mac+Gregor+Jack+Nicklaus+Muirfield+20th+Golf&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1 Quote Titleist TSR2 11° HZRDUS Red CB 50 6.0 w Lamkin UTx Midsize Titleist TSR2 16.5º HZRDUS Red 60 CB 6.0 & TSR2 21º HZRDUS Black 4G 70 6.0 w Lamkin UTx Midsize Mizuno JPX923 HMP 4-GW, T22 54.12WS, T22 58.04DC w Lamkin ST+2 Hybrid Midsize LAB DF3 w Accra Maxfli Tour & ProV1 Ping Pioneer - MGI Zip Navigator AT Payntr X 001 F (mesh), Payntr X 005 F, Ecco Biom C4 Link to comment
Spalding
Thanks for your input! The Sand wedge has worn a bit, the other clubs are in pretty much fully functional used condition with some moderate scratches on the clubheads. The grip on one of them has a crack in it, the rest has som tiny spots on their grips (might be able to wipe them off) but otherwise intact. Here are some sample images: Quote Link to comment
Zacert
Man I just bought the exact same set. My sand wedge is in slightly better condition but the rest of the clubs look like mine. I'm having trouble finding information as well. Does anyone know a way to date these? Quote Link to comment

moe norman
Those clubs are almost mint condition!! 3 facts you should consider for NEVER selling them: 1) Muirfield was jacks 1966 open victory; 2) Jack won Augusta in 1986 3) Probably the best player in the world Signature. I play a set of muirfield´s (the original ones) but also have these 20th (2-pw). Quote Link to comment
