Great opportunity for the forum! I've personally stuck with the same shaft for about 10 year now, haven't found one with the same control or launch that I like and am used to.

    Stix Golf

Would love to be a part of this test! Transitioning from playing blades (MP-33's and TP-MB's) for the last 20+ years to cavity backs (Pro-223's), and would like to compare the performance across the different tech.

  1. Used to build sets more frequently but haven't for a while due to kids. Would love to get back into it with this test. Toura looks clean and playable, great opportunity for those selected.

  2. I am a Ping Hoofer user since High School, some 26 years+, but ice always wanted and craved a better manufacturer or model. Being an strict walker snd competitive player there have really been no better options in my opinion. This looks like a worthy adversary, with the integrated bottom stand, adequate pouches, and 14 way dividers. I'm a bit concerned on the weight and being a bit bottom heavy, but would love to tote this around this summer!

  3. Love the concept and thought process - using your footing and ground pressure through the swing to determine the right shaft, brilliant! As a "reverse c" swinger, my right heel comes up rather quickly during the downswing I'd be curious the shaft spec recommended here versus my longstanding favorite Mitsubishi Diamana D+Plus Limited 70. I upgraded from an old 913d to the 410LST last summer and couldn't hit it until I put the Diamana in play. Game changer since.

  4. As a father to 2 kids under 4 I have to play when the time is right, not when the weather corporates. My 10+ year old footjoy outerwear has seen its share of action and this would certainly be a welcome addition to the wardrobe. Would have been great to have 2 years ago while playing through an early fall hurricane during a regional tournament.

  5. After years of trying to make the Wilson 8813 putter work, I found mallet putters fit my putting stroke and style much better. The Runner Mallet center shaft is similar to my old friend the Odyssey DFX 2-ball center shaft that got me through college, a state title, and some regional wins. The firm face was great on normal greens but I found some issues with speed control on faster greens. My current White Hot RX performs better at tournaments I feel but not as great on my normal rounds (under 10 on the stimp). Would love to see how this AI putter design stacks up!

    PING S159 Wedges

       400

I'm still using 7+ year old Cleveland RTG's (54 and 60) since I've not found a more recent wedge with the grind options those offered, until now apparently. Always been a bit put-off by the Ping wedge design in previous years, but these look more like other wedge manufacturers (vokey, cleveland). The fitting app looks really cool for those of us with no time to get fitted or spend hours at a big box store looking through clubs. Ping has taken over my driver and 3-wood (410 lst's) in recent years, so they might take over the wedge department too!

  6. This is an exciting opportunity to test a DTC, non-super power manufacturer! Personally I've been in the market for new irons to upgrade from my "older" Taylormade MB/TP (Mike Block used the CB version of this @ Oak Hill), and their offering is just what I'm looking for: MB short irons, CB long iron combo set.

  7. Would love to test out this rain gear! As a walker and all-season player these would be a great addition to my gear. Played a tournament last fall through the remnants of a hurricane with decade old rain gear, think I was wetter than I have nothing on!

  8. Haven't tried and arm lock before but just switched back to conventional grip two weeks ago after 6+ years of left hand low and shot my best score (66) in years. Have tried claw grip in the past and would be interested in testing the arm lock mallet head as I'm more straight back and through putter style and need a face balanced putter.

  9. This would be amazing! I currently have an old range mat in the backyard and a hitting net. This launch monitor would really help add to my development as working full time and 2 kids under 3 leaves little practice time. My near 3 year old is really into golf and swings everything like a club and would love to see him use the net out backmore.

Hats off to MGS for an amazing testers season and good luck to all those applying.

Just got rejected for Masters tickets and lost a playoff for the US Mid Am so what's one more rejection going to hurt!

  10. Wow, this might be the best Testers Wanted or the year, in my opinion. The T100's just look and feel like butter. Been playing the Taylormade MB TP's since their launch and this T100's would make a huge upgrade. I like that the lofts aren't too strong and the top line and face lengths look like standard blades but have much more forgiveness.

As a dad of two under 3 in daycare this might be my only chance at playing new T100's, so here's to paying your nickel and taking your chance, as my dad would say.

Good luck to all, 4 subscribers will have Christmas in August!

  11. Currently have the Garmin Venu SQ, been using it just over a year now and it's pretty decent for the basic golf needs. Mainly got it since it's one of the few golf tracking watches that is waterproof for swimming, has decent battery life (for 36 hole days), and wasn't breaking the bank (under $200 if I recall).

Would love to upgrade to the Approach for more detailed stats and on course hole layouts and distances.

  12. As a parent of a nearly 3 year old and 15 month old this is an interesting product. We have a BOB single and double stroller that we take the kids on long walks with but I haven't tried to take them on course with me, yet. My older kid loves golf and the range and this may be a good way to get him oncourse comfortably and not in a cart. Would be great for 9 holes, par 3 course, or speed golf 18!

I'm concerned about the all-metal looking design and impact to clubs being held. Also concerned with the stroller falling backwards if the kid is light or if the kid is out of the stroller. Contacting courses to ensure strollers are allowed (tires are narrower and can impact turf more). Maybe partner with a portable fan company to add a fan to keep kid more comfortable on the course, especially during the summer.

  13. Since having a few kids, haven't had the budget for Pro-V's, so have tried everything from Srixon to Bridgestone to Vice. Currently loving the performance and durability of the Bridgestone B XS ball. Would love to try this new company's ball with this test! I usually play 2 balls when playing alone so could do in round performance and shot comparisons.

  14. Been looking for irons to upgrade from my old trusty Taylormade TP MB's. Mac Gregor has always made a solid iron, so would love to test these out. Spec wise the Pro irons are only slightly strong (2 degrees throughout except 1 for 4 iron) versus older specs. The wider sole may help with alignment and overall face balance/trajectory (pushing weight further back). Wish they put more gold/yellow paint on the head lettering, only gold from Mac's vintage days is on the ferral.
