Edel SMS and SMS Pro Irons - 2023 Forum Review
ORIGINAL SCARP replied to GolfSpy BOS's topic in Forum Testing Reviews
Nice! Congrats on breaking 90. I am a 16 and trying to decide whether to get a 58 or 60 primarily to use out of bunkers. I see you are an 18 handicap and I wondered what bounce you have on your 60 and do you use it out of bunkers? I love the look of those irons by the way! -

Hahaha......I would be pretty excited too! -
Thanks.....yes I should have asked only about the loft not the lie.
-
Ok thanks for that information Ricky Bobby. I will check the website for the explanation of the grinds. Does anyone have answers to my other questions.
-
I have a few questions. I am interested in buying a 58 degree Vokey sand wedge primarily for use in sand traps but I am confused by the letters associated with the different grinds. Can anyone explain them to me. I would like something that is versatile in different types of sand (soft, fluffy and als more firm grainy types) but can also be used in the rough effectively. I am a higher handicapper (16) so I need something that is easy to use. Also, can these be safely bent to the specs of my other irons.....2 degrees up? Should they be bent to match my irons? And if I bend a 58 degree wedge by 2 degrees up does that also now change the loft? If so, how much does it change the loft?

I followed your directions exactly and got my pic on my profile Dave P043, but it doesn't show up with my name when I post anything. -

I would like to know exactly how to add my profile picture as I really don't know where and how. Maybe that is why I am never selected? -

What Is Your Main Golf Goal For Every Round?

Zero three putts, cut down on doubles and triples, increase # of pars and birdies, shoot better than my handicap and......have fun!!! -
Waiting to see if I win the lottery, then I will start thinking about new equipment. For now it's the same old clubs for me in '23.

I am a Titleist guy for irons (still using 2010 AP1 irons ) and a Taylor Made fan when it comes to woods. Hybrids are also Taylor Made and Cleveland wedges generally are my favorite. Although I have 14 putters I tend to like Taylor Made and Odyssey face balanced putters the best.
