  1. Unless you are retired! I feel it going backwards as well. First thing every morning I look at the date. Then get a little depressed when it's still not time to know!
  2. Date 04/22/2023 Course Name Pennhills Club Gross Score 114 Course Handicap 34 Gross Strokes over/under par 43 Net Score to Par 9 Net Score 80 Net Birdies or better 0 Longest Drive 120 Well today was challenging to say the least! Back in Northwest Pennsylvania and we have thick grass in the second cut. The balls don't roll like they do in South Carolina. Putting was tough on the slower greens. I didn't give up and finished out the 18 but boy did I need a nice cold beverage when I was done. Hopefully my swing remembers how to play out of grass rather than the sand.
  3. My husband gets the wrong turn frequently but not on purpose. Our 5 year old granddaughter says " You made an oopsie Papa!" Maybe you could make an oopsie!?
  4. Good morning Spies, Getting my coffee down so I can get to my 10:10 tee time. We are home (NE Pennsylvania) and the courses are much different here than in South Carolina! No sand - deeper grass - creeks but no ponds with gators! Hoping I can at least keep to my handicap. Let you know how I do. Have a tremendous Friday!
  5. Enjoy retirement - it is wonderful!
  6. Spikeless - mostly because I had foot surgery and there is always one clear that hits that spot and then they are uncomfortable and I limp by the end of 9 holes. Love the Ecco brand!
  7. Definitely guilty of visiting and building and rebuilding and rebuilding. That's why my bag finally posted today! I consider it pre-course practice! I visualize how each one will feel in my hand, the weight of the club, the back stroke, the feel and sound of the club hitting the ball, the follow through and finally the ball landing right where I'd like it to land! Oh, the possibilities where endless! My game has never been better than this! Now, if I could just be lucky enough to be picked to put those visions to reality!
  8. I like my bag to stand out! I've always liked black and red together! Can't you just see Tiger with the ski patrol black bag with his Sunday red shirt!?
  9. I read this as well. I can't seem to catch the call until it's over.
  10. I have the 2022 model. So many places to store stuff. I forget which pocket holds what! You are going to Love it!
  11. There's a military man on Founders at Pawleys Island SC - hole 8 - he gathers balls and sells them 3/$1 right by the tee boxes. He donated all the money to Toys for Tots. We bought quite a few with all the water on courses in the area. My husband didn't cry when he lost a "33¢ ball compared to his $4 balls!!
  12. I'd start my build with the Ultralight Pro Cart Golf Bag - Ski Patrol/Black From there I would start with the putter - King Vintage Stingray-20 Putter 34 " Snakebite-X Wedges 48/52/56/60 with Graphite lite shafts - UST Recoil 65 Graphite Lite with the Golf Pride CP2 Pro Black/Red grip - 1" short - standard Aerojet Irons - 7/8/9/P/G/S - KBS PGI 65 Graphite Lite Shaft with the same Golf Pride CP 2 Pro Black/Red grip - 1" short - standard Aerojet Hybrid - 4 - Graphite Lite shaft Aerojet Fairway - 5 - Graphite Lite Shaft Aerojet Driver - 10.5 - UST Helium Nanocore Shaft Not only is this bag a beautiful combination but think of the power it will emanate while they are striking the ball!! I can hear them now. These will be a great combination for the competition side of the contest, as well. If I am one of the few that is selected for the challenge, I will make sure I represent all our spies out there on the course(s) while providing detailed reviews on a regular and often basis. Being retired, I can golf anytime I want! Good luck to you spies in the running for this tremendous opportunity to use these and provide the rest of the spies with all the details on how they measure up out there off the tee to the green. Everything in between will be exciting to see how they rise to the challenge out of the bunkers and roughs.
  13. I'm right there on this one! Hope I get to perform and step up to the challenge. It is a super opportunity
  14. From a wife - just tell her you had remove the temptation so he doesn't hurt himself further! Hahaha
  15. You can always stop at True Blue for breakfast and/or lunch. Caledonia for lunch - I personally love Caledonia's quiche - sitting outside watching the attempts over the water on 18 while I eat lunch!
  16. You can use wide elastic like extra wide waste band elastic. The ball gets gripped by the elastic!
  17. Just was always such a drama king! He reacted good or bad to everything so dramatically. He didn't just smile he looked like this guy. He was either like this or almost in tears ALL the time. It was hysterical or scary as sh*t.
  18. We will be back in January to get out of the snow! Stay at True Blue! Great course
  19. Great job everyone who's been posting. Hopefully will be getting a round in this week to get back on here!!
