Shoes - most definitely Ecco. They are worth the money! Bought my first pair this winter and not sure I'll buy anything else.
I've had Footjoy, Callaway, sketchers, adidas but my feet either hurt, get wet or just don't grip well!!
Forgot best part!! My bad, winning foursome gets Drink Chips!! Again why it's fun and called social league.
You are also pared with different people so everyone gets to play together. It helps avoid those pesky groups that keep to themselves!
I just bought PXG fitted clubs - full set with bag! Now I have to refigure how far I hit each one! Oh, the growing pains of new clubs. Hopefully I adjust quickly. Seems like I keep picking the club that I hit too far or too short. UGH!
String - you get 6 feet of string and you can use it instead of putts and don't count that as a stroke, cutting it until it is all used up!
Dice - roll one di and the number that comes up is the drive you use. ie. 1 and the first person on score cards drive is used.
Special shiny ball - someone different uses it on each hole. But that ball must be returned at the end of your round.
Mystery Hole - picks the winner based on that hole announced after play. Or he throws the mystery hole's score out.
Winners each week vary - lowest score, third lowest score, highest score etc
Hi ladies! I'm working on lower my GHIN!
It's currently 32.5 after a couple of extremely challenging days!! I'm working on getting it below 30.
Does anyone want to join me in challenging themselves to lower their GHIN?
Ultimately I'm trying for 25 by the 4th of July!!
I play with my husband regularly. My daughter at Ridgmont in a ladies tournament, weekly with a social league which is purely for fun!
Ive been golfing about 20 years around work, kids schedules etc. Now retired and enjoying playing at least 5 days a week!
Working on getting my GHIN below 30 now that I have more time to commit to golf fun!
We have 2 womens only clubs playing on Wednesday. One is traditional (competitive) and one is social. I join the social group because I need to unwind from my internal competitive nature. This allows me to just truly enjoy the other ladies company and swing for fun. It's also set up as a fun scramble so those who are new to golfing don't feel the pressure. Our Pro puts together different fun formats each week!
Hi all -
I've had 2 sets new -
TaylorMade Miscela when they came out - full set
PXG 0211x - full set
Put 2 kids through private college so not a lot of extra to treat myself; therefore, the PXG upgrade that was badly needed. My kids were even telling to "get new clubs, Mom. These are dinosaurs!"
