2024 Snell Golf Balls Are Available To Order
Grip replied to Grip's topic in Golf Balls/Shafts/Grips
If the 3.0s are anything like last years second batch of Primes they'll be in my bag [results attached]. I do like to use the get sums during cold weather [<50] as they compress easier than other balls, so maybe the 2.0s might be even better than the get sums. 4.0s probably won't assist my game. Anyway, the test pack will guide me to the right ball for me. -
https://www.snellgolf.com/pages/the-2024-prime-lineup I just ordered a test pack for the heck of it, but I'll probably end up using the Prime 3.0.

Does the Ray Parker Jr. signature bag play the Ghost Busters theme song when its set down?

How long do you play a ball before retiring it?
Grip replied to aguybadatgolf's topic in General Equipment Talk
Golf balls for me retire when... The outer layer shows any damage A full round of 18 or two 9 rounds Submersion and lost balls Their retirement home is the local driving range where they already use found balls from their golf course...a win win for everyone. -
Hello again Spies, My brain won't stop thinking about these Byrdie Design Grind Wedges...LOL Per their Website: Club Specs: Wedges Included: 52, 56, 60 Cast iron 431 stainless steel heads Apollo Shaft: Stiff Flex USGA conformed I'll assume they'll come in standard lie, loft and shaft lengths. With that being said, when I was fitted for wedges three and a half years ago the lies and lofts were standard but because of my tyrannosaurus length arms an additional quarter inch was added to the shafts. I haven't used stiff shafts for a very long time and all my current clubs have graphite shafts so it'll be interesting to see how they perform for me. Their grips also look standard but I prefer jumbo size grips, even though I should use midsize ones, because they just feel better to me. That's all for now. Any questions? I'm here to answer them to the best of my ability. @Grip out.

We used to reside in Newberg, Oregon. I tell the WI natives "Orygun" not "Orygone"...

It's afternoon here in Wisconsin...late getting to read or post much as Old Man Winter did another oncore performance. Golfing has been delayed once again...

Hello Spies! Grip here... As I await the arrival of these Byrdie Golf Design Grind Wedges that I'll be testing I've been asking myself some questions... Can these wedges be the ones that get more people involved and interested in enjoying golf more? Will they perform well enough that their price point justifies choosing them over other well-known brands? In the future, will Byrdie offer different grip and shaft choices? STAY TUNED

I have no preconceived expectations other than will they perform as advertised?..."The combination of spin, distance, control and bounce is unmatched"
