I went through the same thing. I think spending the money to be fit is money well spent. I went for an Edel fitting only to find I should be using a blade and not a mallet. Switched and feel much better about it. Number of 3 putts has also dropped. -

I haven’t had any confidence hitting a driver but recently bought a shaft which is 1” shorter. Should have done this awhile ago. Hitting my driver straighter.
