  1. Ideally I would love to get there like 45-60 mins before. But with my current stage in life that happens very seldom. When I get there I first like to get everything out of my back, set up my range finder, get the liquids out. Then I like to go to the putting green for like 15 mins. If there is a range I’ll certainly do that as well. Doing this gets my mind in “ golf mode”. If I show up say 15 mins before I never settle in and it takes a few holes to find the zone. In those situations you just hope to get through 2-3 holes with a decent score, golf trips are the best because that’s all your there to do and no family obligations hold you back to get your mind tight
  2. When I play my local course I’m usually happy with three to four balls in my bag. If I go to a new course or one I know is harder, I like to go with 6-12. Also a lot of it depends on my current ball situation at home and how much I’m willing to spend . I hate carry a lot of balls.
  3. Weather here in Buffalo is finally going to start to turn. Monday is my leagues first day. Super pumped up. Last night my buddies and I drafted teams for our golf trip in June. Golf is happening!!!
  4. It’s funny, I was just watching one now and I caught myself thinking about all of these comments. I had to stop myself from watching any more. Haha
  5. I have watched and I feel it’s to hard to incorporate all of the stuff. Who knows if you’re even doing it correctly. There is just so much out there, I believe you need to commit to just one style and have an instructor who sees your swing and work on that.
  6. I’m looking into a new golf bag, but I can’t stand individual slots for clubs and the bags that are not like that I don’t like as much. Quite the dilemma. Lol
  7. I’m now starting to rethink my original answer and am thinking of getting that new Vijay wedge set. Love it
  8. Hello, I have been a member for a bit, but I have yet to fill this out. I live in Buffalo, NY. My home course is Deerwood golf course. It’s a middling municipality course. I have been playing for 30 years. I fell in love with the game in 96’ when the shark lost at the masters. I remember after that going outside in the backyard immediately to chip around. I was astonished at how beautiful Augusta was. Before kids (BK) I had my handicap down to about 7. Now I’m a 12 with occasional showings of that 7 player. I love the game, one of my daughters love it as well so it helps me get out more. I have never bought any brand new clubs in my life. I have always gotten used. I’m currently hitting titleist 716 and titleist 905 driver. I have coney wedges that are probably 2005ish models. I have an old Odessa 2ball. I laugh because my kids first sets were both brand new and the hey played for just months before they got something new. lol. Anyways idc because I beat up most of my friends on the golf course with all their fancy gear. It’s the 30 years of experience that comes through while most of the just discovered the game in their late 30’s. Take care
  9. Good morning! I am just going through emails while everyone else in the house sleeps. I am checking all of my master pools to see if I have any chances. I really don’t unless cam smith and Rickie have huge days. Looking forward to making breakfast then off to softball lessons followed by the other kids golf lesson. I got everything done for the weekend already, so I can sit and watch the back nine of the masters with no interruptions. Enjoy
  10. Really pulling for Rickie to make the cut now. Gotta make some moves
  11. I am planning on purchasing the new Odessy AI putter
  12. I have a young daughter(8) who loves golf. We talk about golf often. We watch it. We hit balls a lot at the range. Yet she doesn’t have as much fun playing. She wants to be good at it, she tells me. I wonder how hard I should be trying to get her to actually play rather than just practice? Any suggestions?
  13. Play all day. If he masters looks great from the couch
  14. Dies anyone know what was the product of the show this year?
