WisecrackWard reacted to BobTheClubBuilder in Toura and/or AR Golf thoughts?
I have not hit or built any of their clubs. Really hoping to get my hands on them and see their QC quality.

I just got done building a set of Toura irons. Link below for my thread on the build. The irons are clean and if you are right handed have a few more options with irons.

After the testing period probably. I want to try and use the clubs as they came for as long as possible to get the best feel of the product as the manufacturer intended.

I fell like I'm a fairly long striker so a little shorter wouldn't turn me off. In fact it could help my iron game a little. I'm glad you brought that to my attention though, I missed that. There a degree different from my Ping i10's as well

So do you have them in hand now? So they look as gorgeous in person as they do in the pictures!? I really hope these are like a players distance iron and less like a blade. Can't wait to see what you end up saying about them. Been so interested in these for a while and just want to hear some thoughts!

I was a little surprised to find that out myself. I am not overally concerned with distance either but I am most interested to see the 4 iron impact. I have used a hybrid the last few years and curious to see what will happen with a traditional 4 iron.

3 of your favs is Ping and 3 of your worst is Ping. That's pretty interesting! You must like the brand overall to have such a Ping spread.

Name's Caleb. I'm from Alaska. Most of the playing I get is on a simulator. But I love it and love it even more when I get to play outside. Try to do a week long golf-cation every year and play 36 holes a day.
Currently playing a Taylor Made M4 driver and 3 Wood. Ping i10s for irons, which I'm currently looking to replace. Lots of shopping around. And a set of Cleveland Wedges, which were gifted to me after my amazing set of Pure Spins all took a dump. I miss those wedges still. But the Cleveland's have been great. I am striking a Taylor Made Ghost putter and I love it and don't know that I'll ever swap it. One of those clubs when you grab it you just know it feels like the right match.
Anyway, that's what's in my bag! Currently made the playoffs in the league I'm in and hoping to take home first place!

Not really because I'm playing mostly on a simulator. But I do always tend to hit it a little further outside than what's registered on the sim. So if I hit a good drive 260-270 on the sim outside I'll hit 270-300. I think the biggest part of that is the roll I get outside compared it just trying to register it correctly on the sim.
