All Kids Golf Clubs got a reaction from jbern in Youth Club Questions for 10yo and 11yo brand new to golf
Hi, so this is something we see a lot, almost daily. If it's a child golfing, we will always say use a junior set, like the Callaway XT Teen Set (https://allkidsgolfclubs.com/collections/callaway-junior-golf-clubs/products/callaway-xt-10-piece-teen-golf-set-white) because it is made specifically for kids who are still growing and do not have the strength and power behind their swings like adults do. In this case, your son would be too small for the Callaway XT Set, but it would fit your daughter. It is normal to choke up a little on clubs, but it may be too much in this case since your son is 56 inches tall. There is never one size fits all, and in this case it's about the technology behind the junior clubs that allow kids to have success (clubs are forgiving, proper shafts, junior flex, the list goes on). Junior clubs are made for juniors, and generally speaking, adult clubs are made for adults because of their mature development physically.

Hi, we get this question a lot. We never suggest buying a golf set for kids to grow into, as it'll lead to poor mechanics, lack of consistency, and the clubs will be too heavy. If your child is 60 inches right now and you will be buying his golf set during this summer, I think getting the Wilson SGI or the Tour Edge Bazooka for kids 63-70" would be okay, AS LONG as your child is about 62 inches tall come that time.

To me, that is so close in proper height that it wouldn't hinder his success and will give him a few more inches of extra use down the road. So, yes I think that using the Wilson/Tour Edge set would be okay and would lead to success. Phenomenal choice by the way.

Oh yeah, the golf pro was right. Children will continue to do something that they are good at, and handing them clubs that are massive or cutting down mens clubs, will be extremely detrimental, and the child will no longer want to play. It's like running a marathon in snow boots, how much success can you really have..? It's why we made it our mission to offer a variety of sets and single clubs for our customers, you can get a brand new set with us for around $139.99 and single clubs starting at $39.99.

That's always the best feeling, when they start to show interest. Whenever you're ready to get them some clubs, just tag us, and we can help you find exactly what you're looking for. Clubs that are too big or cutting down mens clubs for kids, makes finding success very slim for a child.
