  1. With a butt like mine white is off the menu
  2. I would be interested in both days. I live near by so I would be driving in and out both days.
  3. Thanks everyone, fairways and greens to y’all
  4. Two tips I keep in mind that have improved my game. "Strike the match" Feel if your club is coming through the ball like striking a match, this keeps your club head accelerating. Point your right shoulder at the target. This forces you stance open a tad. I keep my weight 60-40 on the front foot.
  5. Have you guys heard of or tested SF Jupiter shafts. Seen an advertisement on Facebook and as with all these ads they have a bunch of testimonials, however I typically don’t buy unless I read your assessment. Thanks
  6. I have been moving to plus 4's as well as the align grips on all my irons. When I was fitted for my wedges I also had them installed. Some people I play with don't care for them on wedges because of the feel when you open the face. I really like that feel. To each his own.
  7. Love to get fitted for a new Driver. I wouldn't be opposed to a mini-driver either
  8. Favorite I ever played is the 16th at La Quinta Mountain course. The view from the tee is incredible and birding the hole from the sand left of the hole didn't hurt:)
  9. Play the tees that are most fun for you. I am 68 years old and most of my playing partners are much younger. I typically play the white tee (men's average)with them and keep up with them even though I am hitting hybrids into greens when they are hitting irons. I joined a senior group recently where you play from the Gold(senior) tees or a blended between white and gold tees. I find that it has made me a much better golfer playing these not simply because it is shorter but now I have holes where I don't always need to hit driver off the tee. The course makes me think more plan my shots and when I play the whites with my usual group I still am more mindful of the hole layout and what I need to do.
  10. Folks, I am looking at picking up a motorized golf cart so I can walk the course more often. Does anyone have any recommendations and brands or features I should look at. Remote or no remote? Battery type? thanks Steve T
  11. Steve Maryland Walk in a Thursday night league and all course that allowed it' I have a Clicgear 3.5 but stop using it because of lower back pain from pushing. I now carry when I walk

  14. Wedges, specifically SM8’s. I current use SM5’s. Which are worn but I hit them so sweet I have been hesitant to give them up. When I jump I will definitely get fitted. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  15. I try to practice twice a week. One day I work on chipping & Putting. The other day full swing. One thing I found with Covid is I have been practicing more because besides playing there is nothing else to do. I have lowered my handicap 6 strokes this year that I attribute to my more aggressive short game which came with the practice. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  16. Steve- Maryland handicap- 18, current irons. Taylormade M2 ‘s 6-PW i use a 4 and 5 hybrid currently but would be willing to use a 4 & 5 iron for testing purposes. That might add a spin on their performance
  17. Looking to change out my wedges this summer, would love to be lucky enough to try one of these. might lead to me buying the other two lofts i have Steve Maryland Current Wedges :Titlist SM5 Degree: 58 or 54 degree, finish doesn't matter
  18. Perfect timing for me. My current GPS unit a IZZO 6000just pooped out my information Steve /Maryland Use a Scope that is dying and hard to read the yardage and an Izzo 6000 that died last night
  19. Steve/Maryland 1 to 2 3 putts per round. I average 31 putts per round but always seem to throw 1 or 2 thee putts in every round. I typically practice an hour a week, but that gives me no real feedback on why I am missing. This seems to be a real game changer.
  20. Maryland, Baltimore area 90 above average I would use very day. Definitely would work the program. Getting older seeing swing speed drop off
  21. Steve - Maryland driver speed 85 mph handicap 20
  22. Steve Md 21 Taylormade M2 130-135 yards
