On a bit of a nice roll of late, with another nice round that won the day, altho I did have one stupid double jump up out of nowhere that put a bit of a frown on an otherwise clean front.

Driver today- not long, but in play all day.

Had a nice day and shot well- sunny and warm- really can’t complain about anything And best part was no doubles! Just 6 bogies and 2 birdies

I just wanted to post an update to my experience with the free version. I had previously been experiencing numerous freeze ups, to the point of abandoning the app. so last week I accidentally opened it and decided what the heck, let’s give it a new chance and see if it’s still the same. Happily, I had a completely trouble free round, and then used it again the next day with only one very short glitch. needless to say, it’s back as my preferred gps/scorekeeper app. I always double check with my laser out of habit, and what that’s doing is to help get nano-exact on yardages, and is helping me be better at guesstimates based on flag color, to where I’m starting to get pretty good at it. The scorecard is super easy to use, and automatically changes to the next hole after entry. and perhaps my favorite function is the shot tracker. It’s super easy to use, and lets you select a club. to finish up here, this free version of this app has been fixed, and is now the best IMHO of the free gps scorekeeper apps out there, and trust me, I’ve tried many.

Had a plethora of worthy shots today, a 70 foot birdie putt on 2, a 40 foot death chip over a deep bunker and right before a steep lake edge, a 2 hop and stop sand wedge out of a deep bunker, but then… 165 yards to a white flag, a one hop and jar! Eagle baby! Haven’t had one of them for a while. And then to top it off, a 105 yd A wedge to within 6” for a birdie on 16. one would think I’d have shot in the 60’s with all that, right?? But no….

Well well, I guess I don’t suck as much as I thought yesterday, but I did have a stretch of suckiness for a few holes. But hen I came back with a couple birdies and then…. A one hop jarred 6 iron from 165 for an eagle, to end up with a 75… sometimes this game is so easy, and perfectly flushed shots abound… but then something happens , and you have a 3-hole stretch of putridness…

Good lord, how can shoot a 73 yesterday, then an 83 today,? because I suck! That’s why… what a stupid game!

I was gunna go with one of my fairway woods, but I think I’ll instead go with one specific chip. 52 yards, tight to front edge, #1 hdcp hole. Hit about a foot into the fringe, and it hopped right up to the cup and left me 2” putt for par. this all after another chunked drive, which I had 3 or 4 of today due to a changed swing. I was popping them up until I lowered the tee. Then hit a good 5 wood to leave me this chip… good par…

All this blather about how nice a well hit iron feels.. and yea, it does. But I honestly can’t say it’s better than a long fairway wood, after a chunked drive to save a par. that feels pretty good too. And 3 of those along with a hot putter made for a nice 73 for me today. Uncharacteristically good short game helped as well, getting them close enuff for a good putting day. Couple birds on back nine after 3 consecutive bogies really helped seal the deal for todays win.

First round after the “hurricane “, and cart path only. At least 4 extra strokes from not having the right club with me, cuz I don’t feel like carrying 6 clubs and my scope to every shot… total pain in the bum

Ok, ok, enuff about the sad state of the east…bears,lions, packers… they all stink, well, except the Lions, who might be alright… now for the real teams, headed for the playoffs , are in the nfc west, and depending on the 49ers QB, they will be in. but the really sneaky scary team is obviously the Seahawks. May I remind you, they had a very good offense last year, with a terrible defense. Well they made some very good moves, and have had 2 absolutely fantastic drafts. Plus they’re getting a few star players returning from big injuries on the defensive side. now the defense was basically ranked 30th last year, and they have really shored things up, to where they can potentially have a drastic improvement and even if they only move up to 20th, that will result in many more opportunities for the offense, and let me be the first to warn you, this offense is way more dangerous than last year, when they were ranked 11th. the offensive line continues to improve with their rookie bookend tackles having a full year now under their belts, along with a new center, and a few monstrous new rookies just waiting to get in there, Geno Smith and the best backup QB in the league in Drew Lock, two more scary RB’s to compliment K9, DK and Lockett, 3 fantasticTight ends, and then the cherry on top of it all. Jackson Smith Njigba. Learn this name now, as it will soon be well known by all of you. This guy turns the WR room into the scariest group in the league. He isn’t the speed demon, nor the beast the DK is. He is just the smoothest route runner who just gets open every play, and catches every ball period. He is going to be the rookie of the year easy. Oh, and I would be remiss to not mention my favorite dark horse to make the team, Jake Bobo, from UCLA. Just a great football player at 6’-4” WR. Another chain mover. Seahawks win the NFC West…

Solidly average round today, not a lot of flash, but very workman. Except for the never to be denied double. I just can’t seem to have a round without at least one of those dirty dogs. Actually a couple good up and downs too, not my normal area of good play.

Had a couple 8 irons today that were very tasty… yum yum

I’m looking forward to fall, and some relief from the heat. I think moving on will be easier in cooler weather… we’ve got the Mexican hurricane coming this weekend, and that will be interesting eh?

Ok, today I’m over my vacation, and shot a nice +5 round. Had a few near misses on putts that lipped that could have fallen in,and that doggone double bit me again, but only once. That’s one too many if ya ask me.

First game in a week due to vacationing, and the score reflected that. Not horrid, but not good. Had some good moments, but very meh...

All done with Level 2 now. I did seem to top out, and a little disappointed with that. But, I suppose one can only get as much out of an old engine, as it has in it, eh? As mentioned before, I did get some decent gains overall, and gains that people would pay a lot for. The main difference is that this was a very dedicated workout, for months! If you are a lazy player, this system won't work. It requires a lot more effort than I ever imagined...

Boring = Locked in… it’s a good thing

it is kinda strange how you hit a wall in this game. For me, Its like I can't get past the 106 mph, no matter how hard and crazy I swing. Ive also been keeping track of my 7-iron, and its tapped out as well. While Ive had a few random 90 or 91's, it seems that Im always at 88 anymore. BUT, Now its a seemingly easy swing to pop 150 yards, and before, it was a 140

Finished second session of week 10, and still seemingly stuck. But, Im playing well, and definitely Longer than before I started, across the board. Not hurting my neck anymore either. Ill miss my final session until next week though...

Last game for a week as I go up to Washington State to see my mom have her 91st birthday. Fingers crossed she remembers all us kids. That dang dementia is a cruel deal.. Shot decent, but we had a 3-way tie going into 18. I parred, but one bogied, and the 3rd wheel dropped the birdie putt for the daily win.. rats! Not sure what a week off will do to my game, hopefully nothing bad!

An 83 with 4 doubles is acceptable... I hate those dang doubles
