  1. As much as I would like to know every move the fitter is doing, I have learned to just "trust the process", provide feedback to the fitter as needed and just let the results speak for themselves. As a result, my current Rogue ST Max is set to 11.5 and draw. Before this Driver, I never went above 9.5-10 and setting was usually Neutral or Fade to help with my existing draw. I was just fit at the PGA Show by Callaway directly, for a 10.5 Paradym with a Fade slider setting. I just trusted my Fitter and went along with what she said and what the results proved.
  2. I picked the Forged Tec X because of the forgiveness factor of it. I also feel it will give me more yards vs my current gamers. Lee/ Ft Myers, FL Currently playing Mizuno JPX920HM Approx 10-12 (typically shoot 80-85) Very much open to providing as much feedback and details needed so that others can decide if these irons are right for them as well.
  3. Just seeing this now...Thank you very much! Was able to get out of town a couple days prior to enjoy myself in Tampa. Played 1 round at Innisbrook's Island Course, ate some good food at Bern's Steakhouse and gambled a little at the Hard Rock. Then actually worked the night of my birthday and was given $500 by one of my good customers. So pretty good week in my mind.
  4. 3 models to be exact. Very weird to see them and Honma showing up on Costco's website. TP5 and TP5x 2 dz packs show up as well.
  5. Apparently, everyone else found them too, because the link is not active and a search for "Honma" comes up with nothing now.
  6. Having went to the show, I can tell you that yes new product was available to hit from Taylormade (Stealth line), Cobra (LTDx line) and Callaway (Rogue ST line). But they were located at the Graphite Design, Nippon, Flightscope, Garmin and Trackman booths...Tour Spec Golf was there with all different shafts and heads as well... Plus, the PGA section had Cubs to hit. I was actually able to hit more new product during the show than the golf stores had in demo product at the time of the show. As a result, I'm only needing to try 1 or 2 more shafts out before pulling the trigger on a Rogue ST. The tees used at the show were your standard plastic tees. During the inside part of the show, the driving range was covered in them the 1st 15 yds or so onto the turf since the tees don't stay in place.
  7. Since I was given more for money to trade in my Sim Max driver than what I originally paid for it, I decided to pull the trigger on the Mavrik '22, 9 deg w/ stiff flex T800. Will provide feedback after playing a few rounds with it. I got some on Trackman and liked the results. Plus, the feel and feedback was better than Sim Max. The shaft is about 7 grams heavier than the Riptide 50. My fitter felt I needed a shaft in or around the 60g range. So we shall see!
  8. I have tested the driver out previously with the Riptide. I also currently have it in my SIM Max driver, Ti 3 and 5 metals. Nice shaft for sure.
  9. I am starting to see retail golf websites (i.e. Rockbottom, TGW, etc) selling what they say is the "Callaway Mavrik '22 Driver" alongside a "Prior Generation" version. What is the difference between the '22 version and the original '20 version? Only thing I can notice is maybe the stock shaft offering (HZRDUS T800 on '22 compared to Riptide Evenflow on '20). Thank you in advance.
  10. Handicap - 12 Fairway Wood - Original RBZ Tour 14.5* 3-Wood Hybrids - Original RBZ Tour 18.5* and 21.5* With plenty of time on my hands now (and living in FL where it's always golf seaon), my review will be Fantabulous-IER (Combo of Fantastic and Fabulous)
