  1. I’ll chime in here having hit both. I spent the greater part of last year(an eternity for me) playing the Paradym TD. I picked up a Smoke AI TD before release and hit it on the Mevo plus. The biggest question is what do you want improved between the 2. You mentioned toe strikes. For me the Smoke was more fade biased one center strikes than the Paradym which I d imagine would help a slight toe strike be less hooky. Ball speed, spin(Paradym a touch lower but not much all in all), look(matte vs gloss) are all close enough that the upgrade probably not worth it to most. The actual shape is almost exactly the same. If I owned both I’d game the Smoke as I prefer the look(color wise) but I traded it away for the Darkspeed LS and can’t complain one bit.
  2. Absolutely killer month for MGS forum. The excitement is sky high and we haven’t even scratched the surface for testing yet. I absolutely love seeing new names posting.
  3. I have played the first cobra stingray-40 with the SIK face as well as the SIK Jo and DW. I love the DLT. My perfect putter would be the EV5.1 inline slant black with the DLT face. Since I can’t have it in one putter I’ll just have to live with the black ev5.1 AND the Agera RS-30 lol
  4. Gonna bump this bad boy as I have an Agera RS-30 on the way from Cobra. Can’t wait
  5. Wasn’t able to get any Mevo Plus time in this week after get hit with the trifecta. Sinus infection, upper respiratory, and strep throat on Wednesday. Hoping to get a full weekend in next week and maybe even some outside time as the weather has turned really nice for us.
  6. The Darkspeed LS is definitely low spin. I’ve been playing around with the 8* head and an Attas Daaas 4x shaft the last couple weeks. So far it’s been better than the Smoke TD for me
  7. As someone who struggles with spin issues, you were on the right track in our message that it’s easier to add spin than lose it.
  8. Congrats guys. Can’t wait to get this one started. Great group and a shaft I’m very very interested in.
  9. Dude we have had private messages about this. You know the exact reason it’s missing.
  10. Did the dots make a difference outdoors? You mentioned sacrificing a couple so I assume you were on a range and not hitting into a net. Flightscope says the dots are not required outdoors only for limited flight setups
  11. Yeah the setup is crucial. I actually put a black marker dot on my mat to represent the hitting spot. I still struggle with alignment with just a white screen but it’s definitely better now.
  12. Congrats guys and great intros @Bucky CC and @GolfSpy AFG Consider me one of the members really interested in this one. And should any F-3 testers decide they can’t complete the review, I have a very close personal relationship with someone that would gladly help out by taking over!
  13. Got in a little more work today. Really happy I’m starting to get the settings closer to what I see on course. I did have an issue with face impact not reading half the shots. It didn’t seem to effect shot tracking though as it registered every shot just no face impact info so that’s good. I did run into an issue of my e6 simulator liscense say that my 15 day trial expired which is crazy as I thought it came free with 10 courses for the Mevo Plus. Thought maybe it was because I was switching between the iPad and iPhone but found the email came before I switched over. Hoping my email to CS will get me straightened out. Here is the data from today. Still in awe of it all. Here are some shots where I was trying to achieve 170 ball speed. These were as close as I could get. Shot 1 Shot 2
  14. I’m gonna connect mine to my tv for now so I can see the ball flight and numbers easier. I put the permanent home sim build on hold until fall as we have a bunch of mini vacations planned with some weddings and what not coming up this summer.
  15. You really are Mark. I can’t believe the difference it made. Even fills my tv screen better lol
  16. It’s funny cuz I thought there was a ton of data on my phone but once it’s on the iPad and all in 1 screen it gets more noticeable. One thing I noticed with the face impact, heat map, and data is the heat map doesn’t show you where you hit it the most but where you get the best ball speeds. Or maybe that’s just a coincidence More testing to be done
  17. Almost forgot this one too. Once I got it calibrated my smash factor and spin seemed better.
  18. Well I had lots of Mevo time planned but ran into a couple snags. First I couldn’t get the iPad to download the hdmi accessory so I couldn’t see anything on my tv. So I finally gave up on that and then wouldn’t you know the mevo died. lol. I did get in a good chunk of swings though. Played with the radar settings, environment settings, and calibration settings of the face impact and managed to get some closer to normal numbers for me. Even managed to see my normal flight a few times I was able to really concentrate on my swing mechanics. Here is a few screen shots.
  19. Got my iPad today. Got a ton of Mevo plus time planned for this weekend. After the wife and I do some grocery shopping and a lunch date. Really hoping to nail down the distance issues.
  20. This has been discussed before but our new update disabled our classified section. We are working on getting it fixed and will hopefully have a solution soon.
  21. You can change the order of the data metrics to whatever you want.
  22. Also a note on ball flight. I grabbed a few old balls and hit some outside. Apparently with my setup I have developed a fade swing as that’s exactly what it showed and what I saw. I think it’s in my head if I follow through correctly I will hit the pole of the cage causing me to short arm my follow through.
