Living in northern Iowa , my wife and I decided to give steaks in the air fryer a try. They were surprising delicious. You don’t get the grill marks as you said but didn’t bother me. I think the key to any steak is how you season and marinate it. I simply marinated some sirloins with a little olive oil and seasoned them with lawrys and some beef seasoning I have. I asked Jason this a few months ago when looking to purchase a set of 699’s. He told me they prefer to control all aspects of the build and I could send my shafts and grips to them for assembly. I ended up buying a used set on the bay and doing the work myself.

Maybe I haven’t looked close enough but don’t the MCA Tensei CK and CK Pro shafts look almost identical except for the boron tip writing near the tip of the shaft? I did read that the carbon weave extends higher up the shaft but can that be seen without removing the grip? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Well just got it welded up! Still trying to figure out the best/most cost effective place to send it for refinishing. This is very sound advice. OP are you are willing to drop $550 on a new SIM driver and also willing to get fit for $150 but not looking at paying the premium for an upcharge shaft correct? If this is the case my advice would be to get fit for whatever driver works best for you and then possibly piece it together on the used market. I have always wanted a JT Style flow neck Scotty X5 but the $600 price tag is hard to swallow. So with that in mind, I just purchased an extremely used Scotty Cameron X5 Dual Balance putter. I have a local guy that can weld a flow neck on it for me but I still need to figure out where to send it to have the dings taken out and have it refinished. I went dual balance for the extra headweight in case the dings caused a substantial loss in weight. Im also thinking about picking up a UST Frequency Filtered shaft for it. Hopefully I can come in well under the $600 price tag and have something exactly how I want it.

While I have no problem agreeing with you on your first statement, I completely disagree with the second. While Garrett is in full pads with a helmet on, Pouncey kicks him in the top of the head. That helmet protects his head from impact but does nothing to protect his spine from being pinched and jarred from the being pressed down. Again I don’t condone anything Garrett or any of the guys involved did. I think it was a disgrace and we may have gotten a glimpse of their true colors, so to speak. With that said, I am not saying that Pouncey was wrong in trying to protect his QB just that the way he did it was wrong. Decastro had Garrett pinned on the ground when Pouncey kicked him in the top of the head.

I agree that everybody’s actions involved were inexcusable! The only person that may have a chance to come out looking descent is Pouncey for protecting Rudolph. That said I think the penalty is more than warranted. If you want to protect him, throw Garrett off him and stand between them. Don’t forget that another offensive lineman (I forget which one) was already throwing Garrett to the ground when Pouncey came in swinging and then started kicking Garrett in the head. Deion Sanders tweeted out that Pouncey is a hero in the nfl locker rooms and while that may be true he should still be penalized for doing something against the rules. IMO it doesn't matter what the specifics are that caused the Garrett/Rudolph/Pouncey crap. Everybody's opinion seems to be based off of what side of the fence they are on. Did Rudolph start it? Possibly. Did Garrett start it? Possibly. Nobody know except them two. If/when the story comes out, it will probably never be the full truth. It was just a bunch of grown men acting like clowns. Nobody wins in something like this and the more it happens the harder it becomes to believe any statements issued after are meaningful. They are becoming nothing more than a recorded message. No I actually found the set on eBay. The clubs couldn’t have been used for more than 5 or 6 rounds. The 5 iron still had the shrink wrap on it. I was actually just going to buy new but when I went to pay there was no PayPal option. I found and bought this set before Jason got back to me with an option for using PayPal. I stuck with the used set mainly to save a few bucks. I didn’t realize they sold used sets until I seen the Tweet from them about a used set for $309. On a side note I did send an email Friday night about possibly purchasing heads only as I didn’t care for the tour v shafts when I tried them. Jason actually called me Saturday morning to discuss what I was looking for and to explain why they don’t SEND out heads only. He did however mention an option to purchase heads only and send the shafts I am going to install to them and they would install them for me. I prefer to do my own club work for the most part so I declined. It is a pretty neat option for those interested though.
