Played front 9, had enough as still not feeling well and course got 1" rain overnight. The ponds were full already so everything was sloopy. Shot an unimpressive 44 but the bright side is I was long on a few shots with the new Ping G400 irons. I'm going to do a little write up in them on the G400 thread. I found these Nike Hyperflight on sale for a little under $15 per dozen. I've never played a Nike ball except the occasional "runaway" I've found on the course. Bonding started today. Played an early 9 to try and beat the heat & shot an unimpressive 42. Tee ball killing me right now.G400's will take a bit getting used to BUT they r higher trajectory and hard to tell but a few yards longer than previous irons. The feel is also pretty good. Went to pickup the G400 this morning. While I was waiting I tried a few putters. Oh oh, the o works putter is really, really nice and feels great.I've never been a fan of a putter that looks like it's previous life was on the hood of a late 40's or early 50's Desoto or Packard but this may change my mind.
