  6. 33! Did he have a walker or 1 arm? Or just a few sandbags [emoji41]. That's a lot of strokes to overcome. U did yourself proud to almost pull it off. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Have a good move. It can be a PIA.We've moved 3 times in the last 5 years, hope we're done. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. Same thing with me. I rarely use my laptop, haven't booted it up in 6 months. Do everything on iPhone 7. Same thing with my wife and her iPhone 7s. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. I'm relatively new to the site so I've been reading the different reviews that have been completed so far. I haven't had a problem with any of the different styles and do enjoy a bit of humor thrown in. I am personally interested in iron reviews because I want to upgrade this fall. So keep up the good work. As u can tell my grammar also sucks. Hate Apple correcting. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Played Evans Prairie shot 81 but wasn't pretty. Got lucky on a lot of bad shots that good bounces. Been having problems with the Ping i20 so out that in time out and dragged out an old Ping Venture V2 @ 12'. Picked this out of the used bin years ago for something like $40.00. It's not long but dead ass straight. Had a lot of long 2nd shots but not behind any trees. Humidity didn't kick in until 15th hole so not too bad. Front 9-1 hour 45 min., back 9-2 hours 20min. Slow back! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Nice morning in Florida, shot 81. Pic of a little alligator maybe 4' and he was eyeballing us. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. Your right, didn't think about the name issue years ago. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Cause I'm not very creative. It's the 1st name that I used on an internet site and just stuck with it. Also I can remember it. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. Congrats on the 39 ! Sorry about the time.Someday I'll tell the story about why the Golf group in CT called me Dad and somehow the guys in FL also (without the Ct knowledge) call me Dad. It has slow play in the story. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. Good luck! Great vacation and have a beer on me[emoji106][emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. BTW, enjoy your vacation life's too short! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. Early part of my career I felt the same way but as business climate and employee problems changed thru the years I was happy to get away. Because of the nature of my job I never took more than a week at a time. But I took a week at least every quarter or else I'd go nuts. It took me a long time to get "normal" after retiring. Every once in a while I'll tell my wife maybe I should get a part time job but she's against it. Since she is the Home CEO I'm not working! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. In CT I played mostly at a mini about 1/2 mile from our house. I had a year pass that was dead butt cheap (walking) that I was thankful for. They had a Charity Outing once a week usually Wednesday afternoon. We all knew it and allowed for it. Without these tourneys Pro and staff didn't make money, maintenance would suffer and our Year passes would skyrocket. It is what it is. That's why I played Thursday evenings[emoji41]. They would never have these outings on weekends. I cannot even begin to count how many charities have outings. We (company) as a member of the community believed that we should have a presence and contribute to them. I Still hated the 6 hours!![emoji3] As far a the crotchety old guy my wife says I'm getting there. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. Have to play early morning. I've missed them playing but poured on trip home. Need windshield wipers on my cart!We really need the rain. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. Sounds like a Charity Scramble which we call "hit and giggle " golf. Usually consists of a large number of people who play once a year (at the scramble) and have no clue about golf. When I was working I played in a ton of them then got smart and sent some younger guys to play and represent the company. Had one take 6 hours , no kidding. That was my last one. 21. I like the low humidity part. Florida humidity been real high lately, enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  22. Venting is good for the blood pressure! I've gotten cranky in my "senior years" and can't deal in any way with that type of behavior on the course. If play gets that slow I go to the ambassador/ranger tell him I'm otta here then to the Pro Shop for a rain/too freakin slow check. It's happened 3 times in 2 years and the Pro Shop has not denied us the rain check. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  23. Where is this? Makes me homesick for Northeast! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  24. Great opportunity [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
