  1. Total game changer man. I carried my bag for 5 years like a sucker. Boy has my life changed since I got a push cart. I would've been happy with a cheap 2 wheel cart but my wife got me a sweet cliqgear for Father's day a few years ago. It's already paid for itself in cart fees. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. Got any mods on that bad boy? Hook up speakers or put off-road tires? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. I hate these clubs! I hate these shoes! I hate these balls! I hate this course! Same time next week? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. What's the next milestone on your list? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Well I would walk 500 miles And I would walk 500 more Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles to play some golf Da dala la da What about you? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Well the mid Atlantic is definitely far from a golf Mecca. It gets cold here too. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Yup! All of my local courses are. They actually get cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. Cedar Point in Patuxent River, MD It's got some linksy style holes in and around this peninsula. The picture shows the practice chipping green next to the driving range. They've also got a short chipping green and a putting green so the practice facilities are diverse. From time to time they've even got a launch monitor set up inside the restaurant. 9. That's great advice! I'm gonna take that to the course next time [emoji23] I'm super happy for your success. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Keep the faith brother. I shot 90 3 times before I finally broke it. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. At least they're "trying" to help. I've got friends that almost actively root against me to the point that they call me a d* for hitting a nice shot. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. I know this thread is getting a little older but I saw this meme and just had to add it. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Hit my whole shag bag from between 50-75y. Most were at 75y. Used all 3 wedges and hit a variety of flights each. Direction control was pretty decent but I had a hard time getting the distance right. About 3/4 of the balls are long. This thread is a good idea to help document practice. Maybe I'll be able to upload one with a blanket-sized cluster one of these days. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. I'm with you. It doesn't feel like it counts until you do it on your home course with your bros. One of my regular playing buddies "broke 90" on a different course with a different group than our normal threesome and we call bullseye every time he talks about it. 15. For me, it was the first time breaking 90. My buddies and I always walked twilight rounds because it was much cheaper. It got so dark we could barely see the ball and the back 9 at our course is mostly woods. My buddy lost his ball on 16 due to darkness and packed it in. Since I was making a serious run at breaking 90 (first in my group to do it), I figured I'd keep shooting until I lost my ball. The hardest part was the tee shots. Even though they wound up in the fairway, my buddy and I still had a hard time finding them using our phone flashlights. I played the '09 burner at the time and the only thing you could see was the spark when I hit the ball. No flight and definitely no landing. For all shots, my buddy held the flashlight over the ball so I could at least line up. I played super conservative to keep my ball in the fairway and wound up parring 16, 17, and 18 to end with a cool 87. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. I'm sure there's some great stories out there of the first time members broke 100, 90, 80, par and I'd love to hear them. In many cases, these are some of the fondest memories a golfer can have. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. Shower thought: Uncle Si is totally that dude that would give unwarranted, terrible advice on the range. I think that's what he does in almost every episode. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. That makes me sad because it means he didn't even want the clubs in the first place. I'd never apply for something I didn't have real intentions on gaming. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. Is it weird that I read it like "orange hwhip"? Great review though. You gave all the information I would care about in a training aid review. Data wouldn't mean anything to me as it could be influenced by so many other factors. I really might consider this tool since I suffer from some of the ailments you do as well. 20. Does the TW stand for Taylor Woulds? [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. How much did you end up with once you cut it down? My general writing philosophy is to tell the reader as much as possible with as few words as possible. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  22. Getting pretty close to a 40 hour work week lol. Sounds like they chose wisely with you. I would say that's a fairly appropriate amount of time to devote to an iron set as well. Love the fact that jlukes is still working on a 6 month old review and didn't just drop the topic once he finished his stages. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  23. Just curious for those who have already done a review, how much time did you put into it? This would be a combination of range time, rounds, picture taking, and the actual writing. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  24. That's a great right place right time find. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  25. 1 iron you say? You have piqued my interest. May I see a picture? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
