... Nope and not silly at all. Boiling water can sometimes loosen Tour Epoxy on an adaptor if you submerge it for 30 seconds or more but not always. I usually submerge mine in boiling water then I only need just a little additional heat from a torch. Simply pouring boiling water over the shaft, head or adaptor will only slightly soften residue epoxy enough to scrape off with your fingernail.

Again, big thanks. I usually do little jobs myself, but know my limits. Also not tinkering with what was a £250 shaft when new!
Meltdown averted, just the tip that is a little rough now.

... Next time just slowly pour boiling water over the epoxy and it should come off pretty easily just using your fingernail to gently scrape it off.

Pictures would help tremendously before any advice can really be given.

The bigger names have been covered, but I'll admit that I'm a fan of Scratch golf. He's only got about 5k subs but it's another play on a UK golfer trying to get to scratch. He's not sponsored, he takes the piss out of himself and it's interesting seeing him go on a journey that seems relatively realistic. Worth a watch.

Hopewell reacted to Kegger in Ball Marker / Divot Tool Display
Thought I'd share a DIY Ball Marker display I made a while back. I had been looking for one online, but never found exactly what I was looking for, which was a display with a full magnetic backing. All the displays I found had a single magnet per marker which I didn't want to deal with (and were also rather expensive). Instead, I took a picture frame and lined the entire glass with magnetic tape from home depot. I'll be needing to make a larger one pretty soon as I'm running out of space!

Picture frame laying around the house + $10 worth of magnetic tape = a display for all your little golf course mementos!
