  1. Yup. That's two beers I owe you.
  2. At least on that course, on that long weekend. The odds of him catching fire like this will continue to wane with each passing year. But, like Tom Watson at The Open, it can happen and it's exciting. I was starting to enjoy watching Phil play a few Champions Tour events and figured he'd mix both tours in his schedule as he continues down the prime side of the career. Then Tour 54 happened .
  3. An bonus for some of the LIV players is OWGR movement. A few stayed about the same, a few dropped a little, but these guys jumped way up. Mickelson goes from 425 to 72 Mickelson 118 to 39 Reed 70 to 45
  4. Bennett's turn is wicked, like borderline violent. I'd have to look at Will's again but it sounds like they are similar. I know many have poo-pooed my comments and reservations about all this swing for Jupiter speed training, but for some people's physical kinematics, this may not be a good fit over the long haul. Wear n' tear happens, and sometimes subtlety with no issue, then suddenly becomes an issue.
  5. Looks like Will Z. is out for the rest of the season . Hope he can return to form next season.
  6. I think we had the exact same selections... that should really scare you if you've been following my selection prowess in our various leagues and contests . That said, I finished ahead of Jamie... beers in the freezer getting extra cold.
  7. Congratulations Jon Rahm and to Augusta National for putting on another gem .
  8. It could happen. Lots of golf left and this course perhaps like none other has a flair for the dramatic. Amazing play by Phil. He and Jordan looked like they were in a match play event - really fun to watch both of them. Anyone else happen to see the drone fly into Lowry's drives airspace? How long before we see the first collision... and what will be the ruling?
  9. So long as we're doing da bump...
  10. I'm just happy to see him back to form from the left knee issue. I'm rooting for every name on the board but would like to see a first time winner and, as it stands now, odds are we will.
  11. "Sit...effin sit...Jesus" [Jordan Spieth talking to his ball after landing on #12 green] Agree, Scottie's, Scotty been none too hottie. It's nuts this game called golf.
  12. Agree. That was my line of thinking but could have stated it better. I've had PF, thankfully only once and briefly with therapy (tension boot) and it is no fun.
  13. As if he needs another nagging injury. This could be a secondary issue related to the leg. This game is tough enough on a healthy body.
  14. Thanks for the correction. They probably meant time for the final group tee time. In addition to Koepka/Rahm, there are some other fun pairings out there such as Spieth/Mickelson, Young/Niemann, Schaufflee/Reed, Fleetwood/Ancer, and others; for those who are into the tour vs. tour angle.
  15. Pairing and split tees starting at 1400 EST. Surprised they aren't pulling it back and hour+, but the folks at AN have been to this rodeo a time or two. So glad the wet weather moved out, this is going to be an entertaining finish.
  16. Interesting pre strike hand work by Bennett. In his "Five Lessons", Ben Hogan talks about "the waggle" in some surprising depth. It's interesting to see all the various methods used by players and just as interesting to know how they came to be. One of the guys here bounces his club head up and down a few inches about 5-7x before his backswing... sometimes I count . Viktor's got it going... the lead group better keep an eye in the rearview mirror.
  17. Your menu won't be complete w/o Fixes Fried Baloney; 3-4 slices of baloney with 3 slits fried with just a hint of char, topped with sliced, cooked onions and shredded pepperoncini, served on Wonder bread prepped with mustard. Dagwoods, Hoagies, Subs, grilled and cold, I love me a great sandwich.
  18. Most likely. Full disclosure, I had to look up FML.
  19. Going out on a limb here and guessing Patrick Cantlay has a power tool collection in his man-cave/shop that would make Tim Allen green with envy. I cannot ever recall seeing another DeWalt sponsored player.
  20. Personally I find this to be a very sad statement and an unfortunate reflection of professional golf at present. The vast majority of us rooted for and followed these players for years. A good many still do no matter where they play. It's unfortunate folks have so personalized and politicized the LIV tour. Totally agree. It's the greatest sports venue on planet earth. Yea, I hate playing in the rain and would probably be a little grumpy out in that slop as well.
  21. Top of the pot spies . It turned out to be a good week to take off and rest the back... watching the Masters is therapy, like taking an Aleve. Getting Cam Smith in a featured group is a big bonus for this Cam-fan.
  22. Perhaps. I just think it's time for him to become more of an engaging ambassador, the successor to Jack, Arnie, Gary, Trevino and others. The "game face" thing I get, but, at this point in the journey, I'd like to see him become way more interactive with patrons.
  23. Most of the coverage I'm seeing of Tiger and his expressions leaves me thinking he's really not enjoying this event. I mean, I know he's not playing really well, but considering what could have been his future two years ago, he should be smiling more and engaging with the fans way more. Tiger, your playing in the Masters, you just tied another record, and your a billionaire... things could be way worse.
  24. Was Michigan in a final four game? I'll go to my room now.
