  1. Of what's currently on there, I'd no doubt go with the Sonar+ Black as much as I like the UTX green I like the less tapered grips and the Sonar+ has yet to let me down. BUT... the model I'd pick isn't out yet, but they have my attention and look awesome! #teaser #sorrynotsorry #checkbacklater
  2. It was certainly back when the Motorola RAZR was all the rage.
  3. You leave my 2021 Callaway Epic Max LS out of this… It is perfectly fine. It is perfectly fine. it is perfectly fine to swing new drivers. it is perfectly fine… oh crap.
  4. Winter blues setting in full effect: picked up this lightly used Golo 6 since I’ve always been a fan of the shape! that will hold me over for a while, but a new hybrid is on list too since my current one just isn’t far enough apart from my 4-iron distances.
  5. It’s gotta beat out the EVNROLL first… but if it doesn’t end up in my bag there’s a good chance it’s there in @GolfSpy BOS-Dad’s bag! He’s got eyes on stealing it!
  6. Good Morning All and Happy Sunday! I know some of you all are golfing, and that makes me jealous. But I've got something new to test that will keep the winter blues from getting to me too much today:
  7. we will need to find you an appropriate headcover then. something like this:
  8. @Lacassem has some skates... @StrokerAce I'm there if you got some hot chocolate and baileys!
  9. I thought it was going to be a little smaller too, but not as small as the Mezz. DF3-Mini anyone?
  10. Easy: oh wait… my bad, let me try that again: Digging that finish and the three dot with a line looks good to me. I could do without the line but then the dots move up too close to the face.
  11. I tend to prefer milled faces vs insert faces (although I did like the Ai-One. outside of that, yeah mostly the shaft. My eye likes single bends, and I seem to putt well with slight toe hang putters. an Ai-One milled SIX T is also on my short list.
  12. Well since you asked nicely.... I have a gently used Scotty Cameron Super Select GoLo 6 coming my way. I've always been a fan of the shape, and it was too good to pass up. I have thoughts of doing my own custom paint job on this one and maybe even sending it out to a local guy to change the finish of the club before I paint it.... like I said... the winter can be rough. haha I did take a few putts with the Rossie... you could say I'm familiar with them. The short slant neck doesn't suit me though.
  13. Happy Thursday all! Lots of meetings to get through today at work, but I'm hoping to be able to join in the community call because the kids actually don't have activities this evening! I might even get to have dinner at a regular hour. Hope everyone has a nice day!
  14. Chopping Block - Hybrid. Actively working on alternatives as the TSi3 isn't getting the job done anymore. It is too close in yardage to the Edel SMS Pro 4-iron, so the gapping there is the main issue. Plus I've been lacking confidence in it lately. Not on the Block but it's winter and I need something to keep me going so things could get interesting - Putter. I love my Evnroll ER2B. But I'm going to be playing around with at least one mid-mallet soon... but that's a post for a different thread!
  15. did all of my guys WD yet!? I checked last night before bed... Good luck all!
  16. @StrokerAce this happened to my wife as well. You absolutely want to tell the insurance company "A deer ran out and hit my car" versus "I hit a deer." They will treat them differently when it comes to your premiums!
  17. I liked this... not because you asked, but because I found it genuinely funny.
  18. It's easy to maintain your handicap while being conceded a putt in match play. You are supposed to count your most likely number of putts from where your putt was given to you. So if you're 15-20 feet out you might score for 2 putts. It doesn't impact your match play but helps to maintain accuracy in your handicap index: "Unfinished Holes or Conceded Strokes A player who starts but does not complete a hole or is conceded a stroke must record for handicap purposes the most likely score. The most likely score consists of the number of strokes already taken plus, in the player’s best judgment, the number of strokes needed to complete the hole from that position more than half the time. The most likely score is not to exceed the player’s maximum allowable under Equitable Stroke Control. However, there is no limit to the number of unfinished holes the player may have in a round, provided that failure to finish is not for the purpose of handicap manipulation. Example: A player lies 3, 12 feet from the hole and is conceded the putt. For posting purposes, the player will records x-5 because 5 is the player’s most likely score, based on the player’s best judgment that two putts would have been required to complete the hole."
  19. Those look fantastic @GolfSpy_APH! Looking forward to see how they performed for you because they certainly look the part!
  20. Yeah, match play would be an exception to my rule, particularly in a team match. If the hole is over pick up and move on. Or as you said, if you are giving the putt as a strategic move to not let the other team get a read on a potential winning/halving putt.
  21. If I'm playing with @Lacassem in the bottom of the cup isn't even a gimmie. Generally my rules are... For a birdie or better? You're putting. For a par or worse... You're probably still putting. Did the hole take us a long time and you're putting for Par or worse? - Inside of a foot. Are you double par? Pick it up lets move on.
  22. They look more "grown up" I think the simple black paintfill helps from keeping it look busy, and the shape looks nicely refined from the CBX2's that @Lacassem used to have.
  23. Good morning all, Not a warm one here and it took some convincing to open the car doors this morning shuffling the kids off to the bus stop and daycare One the bright side when the sun came up and was shining on the tree tops the ice-covered branches did look pretty. Not as pretty as the ones lining the fairway full of green leaves on a bright June morning, but it will have to do for now.
