Playing a Yellow/Orange/Red/Green Ball
Erik-M replied to mikeanthony's topic in Golf Balls/Shafts/Grips
I use vice pro plus lime or red and they are fantastic!!a great quality ball and you can see them fly the whole way, and no one tries to steel my ball!! Here's the red ones, I altruistic don't have pictures of the green. -
I just can't express how good the clubs sound and feel! And the ball flight is incredible! Nice and high and straight!I played good with them today, shot 75 seriously thinking of getting the equalizer wedges and going 1/2 in long and 1 degree flat! All my scoring issues came from fat and thin wedge shots from full wedge distances, or 3 putts. The v- sole is fantastic, can't remember hitting a fat or thin hogan iron shot, because I'm confident how it's gonna react with the turf! And mind you, we play on a very wet course. Also am very confident playing 3/4 shots for in between distances!

I played a tournament last weekend, and the clubs were money! I was hitting greens like crazy, if only I could've got off the tee, Or made a putt! Missed five makeable birdie putts on first day. Same story on day 2 had to go irons off the tee day 2. Only hit a couple drivers and lost a ball on 1, set up on the right side of the tee box and aimed left side of the fairway, and hit it in the trees on the right. was fighting a big cut/ slice with my driver but my irons kept me in it.

Well the sound off the face is super dull, and they just explode off the face. They seem to go a bit higher then my ap2s and I'm not missing left, but that might be the shaft seeing that it is a kbs tour v x- stiff compared to my ap2s with 7.0 flighted rifle shafts. I've yet to hit the 4 iron any good, (or of the 3 I've hit) so hard to say. The five iron feels good. They seem to go a bit farther, 10 yardsish for my pitching wedge. But they are 1 degree less loft. Except the 4 iron which is 2 degrees less. I have a bit of a toe shot going with 4 and 5 irons and when that happens, you can definitely tell where the ball hit the face. Aka short and vibrating. But i love the flight!!!

So I might be doing something dumb, but for the sake of my golf spy, I am going to play my icons in a big golf tournament this weekend. I'm gonna see if the pressure makes them harder to hit!! Wish me luck! The saving grace is that it's a best ball tournament, however my partner just texted me and said he's hitting the ball like garbage. Still gonna go for it!

my wife is 5'2"and she uses women's clubs, first cause they usually are shorter off the bat. Second cause they have a softer flex shaft and they fit her swing speed. I would say depends on your swing speed because the shorter you cut a stiffer shaft, the more and more stiff the shaft will be. I would say to get a fitting if you have the means.
