  1. FYI Rockbottomgolf.com has open box Cleveland RTX-4 wedges for $80-85. Looks like Tour Satin(QTY-2), Raw(QTY-18) and Black Satin(QTY-3)
  2. That is definitely a change that I can incorporate. Thank you. Having used both types of grips, would you recommend going to a flat grip? or do you think that an oversize grip would give a similar result? P.S. I just noticed that it was your birthday... Happy Birthday!
  3. I appreciate that, I will take all the luck I can get I typically have a conventional grip but I have been struggling a little bit with consistency, hence wanting to reduce the variable of my wrist. I have been practicing with the prayer grip with both index fingers extended. I like the feel and consistency has improved but I think having a wider grip than the stock grip on my BC1 would work better with that type of grip. I do like the idea of having the flat grip positioned parallel to the face as opposed to perpendicular, did that help you? I haven't tried left hand low, maybe i could try that depending on how this prayer grip goes. But I don't want to jump around too much at one time.
  4. When I was younger, I would be late for school or had something going and I would just skip breakfast. That sort of just continued without any intention and maybe a year ago I started learning a little bit about IF and had the thought that i would skip lunch at work every now and then and see how it went. The most convincing argument for me was the fact that with a diet you have rules you have to follow and things you need to track, but with IF you really only have to say "No" to yourself. It was also a spiritual exercise for me also as I learned that i did not have to give into every little thing my body was telling me and as a Catholic, fasting is not uncommon and everything just fit together nicely for me to continue. Well as time went on, my Wife started noticing me thinning out and it was nice to hear but i never really thought anything of it, never really kept track though i think the last i remember i was down maybe 10lbs or so. Now that i am working from home due to the virus, the Wife is a really good cook and while it has become easy to tell my body "no"... sometimes saying that to the Wife is a different story haha
  5. I am a noob to the site and i'm not sure if this belongs here but I can move/repost if need be. Recently I have been trying to reduce the wrist variable in my stroke. My putter also needs a new grip, so I was looking around and the two grips that look interesting to me so far are the Two Thumb and Flat Cat grips. Anyone use these before? Any feedback is appreciated.
  6. Small Batch actually has a Cigar Of The Month Club that I would highly recommend for the exact reasons @Headhammer specified. I had a spot on the $30 COTM (And if interested, keep an eye out because they go fast when they open one of the limited spots) and i was never disappointed with the value of and quality of the sticks. I have also heard good things about JanusTobak.com's COTM. Sorry if this seems pitchy and overly enthusiastic but i genuinely do love small batch.
  7. I used to have an Odyssey White Hot #7 back in high school, unfortunately that got stolen with the rest of my bag. But I replaced it with the Mizuno Black Carbon BC1, and I love it. For how nice they are i am surprised they are not more common.
  8. Beautiful equipment How much for a package of the 50, 54, 58?
  9. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I started playing ~15 years ago just before high school, but have been getting back into since my Wife has shown interest. I believe my typical score is around the mid eighties What do you love about golf? I will defer to Arnold Palmer "[Golf]is deceptively simple, endlessly complicated. A child can play it well, and a grown man can never master it. Any single round of it is full of unexpected triumphs and perfect shots that end in disaster. It is almost a science, yet it is a puzzle without an answer. It is gratifying and tantalizing, precise and unpredictable. It requires complete concentration and total relaxation. It satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time, rewarding and maddening. And it is without doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented." - Arnold Palmer What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Since Quarantine started I stumbled onto MyGolfSpys youtube channel and that led me to the website. No other spies known Where are you from? What is your home course? Southgate, MI (Detroit Metro) and home course TBD What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? My region has a lot of variety in terms of golf courses, unfortunately the home course of my high school was not a great one as it was very flat and uninteresting. What do you do for a living? I am a CAD Designer for a Tier 2 Automotive Supplier How’d you pick your user name? My Wife has shown interest in learning the game, so I kind of became her swing coach by default haha
