Perfect time for this test.  Learned about these recently and was strongly considering ordering a set.  Replaced my first grip last week via air compressor, and these really appeal to me for that reason.  Almost ordered them, but let's see if I'm selected first.

I know a guy, who has old Ping Eye clubs, he still has the original grips. They are still tacky and not worn. It can be done. I am sure Ping discontinued those when they realized how long they lasted.
