🚨 Testers Wanted! 🚨

TWSM10-Feature.jpg

The new Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges were released in March of this year and have been a popular addition to many golfers' bags since. We are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges.

About The Vokey SM10 Wedges

MyGolfSpy Staff member Tony Covey has a complete breakdown of the new SM10 wedges here , which is a must-read, but the shorter version is Vokey SM10 is focused on three key elements: versatility, distance control, and trajectory, and maximizing spin. The Vokey SM10 lineup has six different grind options for a total of 25 different loft, bounce, and grind options.

This includes the M Grind that had previously only been available through WedgeWorks and T Grind that has also made its way to the retail market. The other options that a golfer must choose from are the finish, and the SM10 has three of them: Tour Chrome, Jet Black, and the new addition Nickel.

There’s more though; the Vokey SM10 has refined the shape and CG placement to help optimize distance control and trajectory. This works in tandem with their spin-milled grooves that have groove geometry that varies depending on the loft to maximize spin for each loft.

Titleist Wedge Selector Tool

Of course, all of this can be a lot to take in, so Titleist offers an online Wedge Selector Tool to help simplify things. It is a series of eight questions which gather various information about your current setup and game to help make the best recommendation on what setup would be best for you. To try it yourself, go here!

What Is Being Tested?

As previously mentioned, we are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges. We want you to tell us how they perform in real-world conditions and play. Importantly, we also want to know how the Wedge Selector Tool works and if the recommendations are what you would normally expect.

The selected testers will go through a Titleist Fitting for their wedge set and see how it compares to the results from the Wedge Selector Tool.

Think you are the right golfer to participate in this test?

Here is mine. I currently have a sand wedge as my lowest club. I would really like to see what a fitting would recommend.

And the opportunities just keep on coming!  Great work, guys.

Driver tune-up and new wedges were on the schedule for this Spring.  Here's what the online fitting system says:

Good luck everyone!

I normally use my set PW for full shots, but am a 50* and 56* guy after that.  No need for anything more lofted than a 56*, because a good grind takes care of making one wedge perform as many wedges.

I haven't tried Vokey Wedges for a long time, so I filled out the Wedge Selector and it came out like this:

Here are my selector pics.. Many many different types and lofts of the wedges made me adapt to each and every one of them.

When you reach the age of 70, you have to rely on your wedges more than ever. I need every advantage wedges can offer.

Hopefully this time, I should be able to rely on not too different characteristics of the each.. Cheers!

This one sounds awesome and is very intriguing! I read through the article Tony and these wedges sound top notch!

For some reason, I feel like testing a set of wedges could be more difficult than some of the others. Not sure why I'm feeling a bit intimidated by it.

I went ahead and completed the selection tool. Glad I have a couple of days to consider putting in. But certainly a great opportunity for the lucky few who get selected!Screenshot_20240425_101729_Chrome.jpg.6759fd1648ad32996e0510865682936b.jpg

Anyone want to sponsor the Tour Fitting Experience up in Carlsbad for me? HahaScreenshot_20240425_180901_Chrome.jpg.9b5005c33f7aae1775ea7ec029874ca9.jpg

Always been interested in hitting Vokey wedges. Interested to see how they stack up against my Cleveland wedges I've always played.

Looks like a great opportunity. Would be great to review against the TM milled grind and have some new grooves.

Would love to test out these wedges. I have never tried or thought of to try a D grind.
