Do you find putting practice boring or repetitive? Is it something you avoid doing because it is not true enough to real-world situations? ExPutt is a putting simulator that aims to change that. It is a small, portable device that can be used for fun and to improve your putting at home with minimal space required.

What Is ExPutt RG?

ExPutt is a small putting simulator that connects to your smart device or TV and provides real-world feedback and situations to help you improve your putting. The ExPutt system consists of a putting mat with a foam backstop, a remote, and a tripod camera for measuring putts. The system features training and game modes for practice, competition, and fun, as well as real courses.

ExPutt RG Numbers

On the data side, ExPutt provides ball speed, launch direction, distance, putter path, tempo, and impact angle. Want to enhance the experience? Place stickers on your putter for more accurate data.

Playing Modes

ExPutt offers three playing modes. The Classic Mode has three sub-modes: Practice, Play9, and Challenge, which allow golfers to work on various aspects of putting, including on-course play. Explorer Mode focuses on your putting weaknesses. Golfers can select a pin position and recreate putts from the past on real courses. Multi Mode allows golfers with ExPutt devices to compete against each other in real time.

The Testing Opportunity

We are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep an ExPutt RG device. For this testing opportunity, we want golfers who are committed to improving their putting to see if the ExPutt RG can help them achieve that. We want the testers to compete against each other in Multi Mode and to share their full experience with the device, from unboxing to simulation rounds.

Yes, it was a great tool to provide a lot of data for the DF3 test! I'm excited to follow along with this test to really help me dive into the Exputt and get the most out of it. I really only got into the "practice" mode (Random distance 5-50ft straight, flat putts) and the "Play 9" mode (starts with a 25-50 ft putt and makes you putt out until you get inside of 2 ft). I think there's a lot more the Exputt has to offer. 

One feature I would like to see on the Exputt is like a putt-putt mode with putt-putt courses built in. That would REALLY help get the whole family involved and into the simulator! My kids like the play 9 mode, but you have to be pretty precise to succeed. My 4 yo son is NOT precise! 😆

I played on Sunday at a local links course in Scotland and my putting was terrible. I try and read greens but fall short. I have a touch worse than a baby elephant 🙃. Then on the 17th you just know it's a good putt and it sneaks past. 

I just need to other putts to do that. I'd love this to trial as we all would I suppose.

How amazing! I've set up a garmin r10 with GS pro through a gaming laptop into my sim setup and it's awesome! However! no putting is available that is actually accurate. It would be so awesome to be able to practice putting along with the rest of my game. This deficiency in my set up has led to putting being on the weaker end of my game as I can hit hundreds of long clubs a day, but can only putt at a course....Fingers crossed so hard they're on the verge of breaking....lol

How does one get notified if they have been selected as a tester? New to the forum so just starting to look around and figure it out.

If you get selected you will get a PM from the staff along with the other testers.
