Goober
Been working really hard on an online lesson I had with Monte.Standing farther away from the ball. And doing my best to make a longer backswing.Been playing some good golf.He said those changes will hopefully sync me up better with time.Even the smallest changes are difficult. I’m 6 foot 3, and carry my driver 255. With my draw that is 280. At times I will pop a 300 yarder as well. First swing is dtl is 5 iron, front on is 2 iron Edited August 30 by Goober Rob Person
Goober
Forgot to add that I play 70-80% of holes very well. Fairways and greens. Its still that odd number that cost me from having a super great round.I usually play very aggressive.Thinking that I might take some long irons off the tee and think position golf.My favorite yardage is 125.That is a nice full swing wedge for me.Thinking I might play a round where that should be my aiming distance Rob Person
Goober
this is one area where I struggle understanding. But it does feel (in my mind) that it would be a free flowing release vandyland and Rob Person

vandyland
@Goober That is a good looking shallowing move (to my untrained eye). Keep up the good work! Goober
IMG_5383.mov Driver took a while getting used to doing it.But feel tons of freedom now. Maybe steeper than most players. But my impact feels pretty powerful
Goober
Really been working at this diligently. On the range and the course. To really make Cast A and B work one must be recentered (in feel) slightly in front of the ball before starting transition. Cast A really locks the hands… and can hit some really solid shots if you are recentered and not stuck on right side.Cast B is only happens if all else is right
Goober
Took some advice from another NTC student.Practicing dropping back foot back. And using the gem training aid to feel cast B.Its an aggressive punch shot feel at impact and beyond for me.But the good ones were really good.Staying positive as some days are better than others.Seems to be ok my 60 year old body so far.Being 6 foot 3 isn’t the most ideal body size for swing changes .
