  1. Chris Hudson for me. I retired at 60 4 years ago. I played to 3 handicap in my mid 30’s and maintained an 8 cap until retirement. I studied Power Golf and 5 Lessons in the beginning of my golf journey. Upon retirement, I was diagnosed with cancer 4 months in, then a year later I was hit by a car in a parking lot. Ribs, right shoulder and lower back. Trying manage my range of flexibility and strength. I discovered Hudson and have enjoyed his philosophy and structure. It’s helped me immensely in finding my rotation and balance in my swing. And yes, I’m a Hogan/classic swinger!
  2. My List: 1. Loud Music 2. Excessive Drinking, party atmosphere while on the course 3. All 4 players looking for lost ball 4. Nobody is playing ready golf in the group(s) ahead 5. On blind tee shots, no one in the group ahead is in view to wave you up to tee off
  3. Could not load the page. Kept asking me to sign in.
  4. I turn my mat so I'm hitting off the front edge of it. I can hit down and through normally. I discovered trying this after developing tennis elbow. Also, the sound of a pure strike I have discovered is elevated especially indoors.
  5. I would also consider clubs that are gently used with the specs your fitting recommends. A friend of mine researched and bought a full bag of used Pings and he couldn't be more happy with his purchase and he saved $$$. He started playing seriously only last year, had lessons, bought the clubs over a couple of months and then again this winter he continued with more lessons. I played with him over this past weekend in a scramble and he was our ringer hitting bombs and iron shots on the green with a beautiful draw. Last year he was a 20+ handicap to start and now he's a scary 15 that could possibly shoot a round in the high 70's and take everyone's coins!!
  6. Last year I decided to try a fitter. I ended up purchasing a new Callaway Rogue ST Max LS driver with stock Mitsubishi Blue Stiff shaft for $700 CDN based on fitters recommendation after trying al lOEM's. It took over 4 months for it to arrive. I practiced and played it but I was not happy with how it was performing. Put my previous gamer (Sim Max Ventus Red) back in the bag and my performance improved immensely. Just hoping I can get some of my money back on this driver as trade-in values are $260.00 or EBay $450ish?
