  1. Sorry. Still trying to figure out this site. Not that good at all of this thanks
  2. I’m curious out in the community how many people have used these before. They’re getting good reviews and a couple of my friends have adopted them. I know they’re very expensive, but the putter is something you use 40% of the time and it’s your scoring club. I find it interesting that people don’t have a problem, dropping five or 600 bucks for a driver, but freak out about that price for a putter. Anyway. Lab golf… what do ya think? specific questions did you get fitted at a shop or use their online fitting video? What was your experience? I have heard that they’re great inside 15 feet but tough to lag putt with. If you have one, what’s your experience with that? did you use the stock shaft or upgrade and why?
  3. If you never plan to walk no reason to get a stand bag. If you do plan to carry or use a push cart than a good stand or hybrid bag will be helpful. Lots of choices out there. My golfspy just posted about the best stand bags and cart bags.
  4. $500+ for most new drivers but people balk at spending on your scoring club makes me giggle. If a fitter put me in an expensive putter and had the data to back up the results idk if it was 5 hundy!!

Thank you that was really helpful!!

    Lie angle

How do I use a sharpie to check lie angle?

    Lie angle

Several years ago I was fitted for clubs “sort of” at one of the big box stores. I am not unhappy with my clubs, but I do know that lie angle was never measured or adjusted. So my question to the group is how important is having lie angle adjusted for your clubs and would it be worth going back to the store to have that measured?
  8. Golf purists are not gonna like this. But a couple of my friends have got the Kirkland wedges and are actually more than happy with them. I think it’s 135 for three wedges. I’m not sure if they can be bent to the loft you’re looking at. You could do some searches on YouTube and they’ve actually rated pretty darn high from some respectable golf club testers. Just a thought.
  9. I think it all comes down to respect. As long is the group I’m playing with has a consensus. The music is fine maybe offer everybody a choice on genre or mix it up throughout the day. What’s not OK is to hear who whatever they’re playing from four fairways away. When the course is backed up and the next group drives over to the Teebox when you were up there and you can’t hear yourself thing because of music is blasting just turn it down you’re not any more important than anybody else who payed their green fee to play golf that day
  10. I currently use the Ogio woodē 8 it’s great for pushcart and ok for a cart bag. I live the pockets and the layout. My biggest complaint was that the internal liner that separated the clubs tore fairly early into ownership. Imho it is not that good of a carry bag. My fave carry bag was the linksoul bag. Cheers!
  11. That is a great drill thank you
  12. Thanks. That was going to be my next question. What club is best to start practicing with for bump and run?
  13. Congrats on all the testers. Looking forward to hearing your opinions. I’m especially curious how the testers feel about the length of the straps. Love all of these tests
  14. Have a question for the group and more experienced golfers. As a relatively new golfer, I’ve only been playing for two years and started late in life I’m 56. I’m really trying to break 100 now I leave a lot of strokes on the putting green but also in my shorter game. I’ve heard two schools of thought one keep grinding away on chip shots….and the other says learn to bump and run. it’s a Safer play what does everybody here think?
  15. I first joined because of the MGS YouTube and podcast. I quickly found as a high handicap relatively newer golfer that my questions were met with authentic responses rather than the typical you suck at golf responses on other forums. This is a great place to learn and comment about golf for me.
