  2. Please add the course rating and slope, for the new format. Much appreciated
  3. This is accurate. We will see how it shakes out over the course of the season, but it should allow us to recognize good performances across the spectrum of skill levels on a weekly basis
  4. Welcome to the VCT! I’ll need the slope and course rating when you get a chance, for the new format. Much appreciated!
  5. I have 2 sets currently in my possession, that mostly fit the bill. Titleist T200/T150 combo set. I love the feel of the T150’s but the T200’s feel muted to me. They are great irons, but the search for “feel” led me to a combo set of ZX5/ZX7 MKII. It’s probably recency bias, but I am absolutely smitten with these irons and they will be my gamer set for this season. I’ve had a few sets of Srixon now, and these are the best irons Srixon has produced, bar none.
  6. Just recently, I have opted to replace my 3w with a mini driver. The 3w was perfectly serviceable, but my driver has been a bit erratic to start the season. The mini-driver gives me a longer insurance policy, in case the driver is acting up any given round, plus hitting it off the deck isn’t too dissimilar to playing a 3w for a similar shot. Given the length of my home course (6300 yards), I don’t use a 3w all that often anyway.
  7. Please provide the slope and course rating, for the new format. Much appreciated.
  8. I understand, having gamed both Vokeys and MG3’s, you can’t really go wrong with either. Enjoy
  9. Fortunately I think @GolfSpy SAMstill has some of the VCT bag tags. If you send him a PM, he should be able to square you away. Well done, getting your rounds in
  10. Tim (GolfSpy TCB) stepped away from the Forum last fall for personal reasons. Is there something I or one of the other staff members can help you with?
  11. We had Aaron Lutrell, the Vokey brand manager for Titleist on to discuss all things Vokey in preparation for the SM10 member test. You can check out the recording here:
  12. Please add the slope and course rating to your post. Much appreciated.
  13. The VCT was created as a place members could post their actual rounds and compete against one and other virtually, hence the Virtual Champions Tour name. Last winter, we began accepting SIM rounds as a way to allow those in snowy climates a means to continue to participate. That being said, there isn’t currently a league designated for SIM rounds. But we will be starting one this coming offseason, details to follow.
  14. 3 putts are a killer on any scoring round. I can, and often do overcome wayward tee shots, but if the putter is cold, it will be a long round.
  15. It is for actual rounds played. Play a round and post your score with the slope and course rating. For the first couple weeks, exceptions will be considered for virtual rounds if you live in area where the courses aren’t open yet. But all virtual rounds are played as a 0 handicap, and will be factored into the VCT handicap accordingly.
  16. There have been some discussions regarding a new card, but it is still in the planning stages. Stay tuned
  17. No worries. And yes, we are working with the developer to get the inputs corrected, so that it’s all there when you post the score. I anticipate it being settled within the next few weeks.
  18. Please add the slope and course rating for the new format. Much appreciated
  19. I need slope and course rating, for the new format. Much appreciated
  20. Snuck up to the range this evening for some more work with the QI-10. Over the last few sessions I’ve been working to correct face to path issues that were producing high spinny slices. Progress has been made on that front and I’m starting to see more draws than slices. I had a couple that carried around 250 yards, which for my game is the sweet spot. My feelings on this shaft/head combo are thus: Love the shaft, starting to dig the head. Sorry, @IndyBonzo, you may not be getting this head back Oh, and the mini driver is serviceable off the deck. Which makes for a pretty good insurance policy, if the driver goes south mid-round. The top of the bag is starting to take shape for this season, just need to get some rounds in.
  21. Welcome! Glad to have you here. The VCT is a fun way to compete against your fellow forum members. At the top and bottom of the page you will see this icon: click the post score button and fill out the boxes: once completed, hit submit and you become an official member of the VCT! Also, remember to include your course rating and slope from the round, as it is needed for a new format we have implemented for this current season. Again, welcome!
  22. With the VCT, you can come and go as you please. There is no weekly obligation to post a score. If you post weekly, great! If you miss a week or three, no worries.
  23. For the new format, please provide slope and course rating. Much appreciated
