  1. A brief update from last night’s range session with the QI-10. I had an hour to kill after dropping my daughter off at soccer practice, so I took a wedge, 8i, mini driver and the 2 drivers and hit a bucket at the range down the road from the fields. Because I’ve been having face to path issues lately, especially with the driver, when I got to the driver I used an exaggerated strong grip with the intention of hitting duck hooks, along with keeping the club face pointed toward the ground in the takeaway. My first couple balls did exactly what I wanted them to, so I continued by hitting a ball and slightly adjusting my grip back toward neutral until I wasn’t hooking the ball. All in all, I was encouraged by the shape and while the distance still isn’t back to where it should be, I have decided to give the QI-10 every chance to make the bag. The work continues…
  2. @cjeffs12, @MN.LeftyGolfer, @Barley Spargewater, & @DiverDown With a few weeks left in the testing period, how are things progressing with True Stroke Putting Trainer? Have you noticed any improvements? Or possibly the opposite? How's it going?
  3. It is set to start next week on Monday. There will be a post this week with all the details. Stay tuned.
  4. @BrianSeal , now that some time has passed from the posting of your final review, are you still getting along with the wedges? Good job on the review, btw!
  5. Congratulations to a strong group of testers! I have recently added one of these bags and I am impressed with the quality and functionality of this bag. I look forward to following along with your experience. Let the fun begin
  6. This is a fantastic group of testers! I, and the entire forum, will be following along. Without further ado… Now the fun begins
  7. NIcely done, John! That was an enjoyable read. It makes me happy that you are seeing immediate progress from the LS and I hope it earns the Octopus!
  8. Nicely done, Jamie! That was an enjoyable read and I’m thrilled that your experience with the LS has turned out so positively.
  9. Well done, Michael! It is awesome that you were able to shave 6 strokes off of your handicap index. I look forward to following along, as you continue this journey, that is golf.
  10. Not apples to apples, but I really like the Odyssey stroke lab shafts for similar reasons. Because it’s your money, I say go for it! And let us know how it works out
  11. My final review is up in my placeholder post. Check it out…or not. Either way thanks to Taylor Made and The MyGolfSpy Forum for this opportunity to try something new Always appreciated, never taken for granted. Lastly, stay tuned for dispatches from the latest path I’ve chosen to travel.
  12. The Titleist fitting experience is second to none. After going through it, I’m pretty sure I can’t go back to hitting into a net and relying on LM data to tell me if the clubs are right. Getting fit on a range, where the flight shape and distance can be observed, is critical to my comfort with the clubs.
  13. I’ve had a T150 7 iron sitting in my cart for a while now, I’m this close to pulling the trigger. Beyond that, the blended set I was fit into has lived up to expectations and then some. The T150’s are among the best feeling irons I’ve played and the T200 5&6 are effortless distance. Love these irons
  14. Welcome and congrats! I have added the broke 100 badge to your profile.
  15. With the final reviews coming this weekend, be sure to check them out! My testing of QI-10 is going to be taking a new unexpected, and at least for me, exciting direction. Stay tuned…
  16. Throughout my limited testing, I’ve found that the Paradym TD was more forgiving on off center strikes, but the QI-10 LS produces slightly higher ball speeds on center strikes. When the swing is groovin’, the QI is a beast.
  17. I’ve mentioned it a time or twenty, but it is the 2nd hole, par 4 on my home course: Off the tee, a carried drive of 245 yards is required, otherwise you are in the creek. My normal play is a layup of 190-200 yards, which usually leaves a 7 iron into the green. It is by far, my most bogeyed hole.
  18. Currently playing Recoil 120 F4 in my irons and I like them. Project X LZ are probably my favorite.
  19. Same answer, different day. As we have told you repeatedly, we won’t know if there will be tee times available for the golf only participants until we get closer to the date. I promise, once we know, it will be posted and communicated accordingly.
  20. Scratched a couple itches today This matches the 54 & 58 that I picked up last month and replaces an SM-8 that was worn out. And I absolutely did not need this, but y’all know how this goes… Early returns, but this is fun to hit and I’m anxious to see how it fits into the bag
  21. There will be, I believe, 3 more opportunities for the Bridgestone mindset sampling. So you should still get a chance to partake.
