@Vegan_Golfer_PNW, I had the MLM and currently use the MLM2Pro. They are both decent options, but if it's within budget, I would give the nod to the MLM2Pro. It isn't as reliant on the iPhone to operate and it contains most of the features you mentioned in your post. The lone exception is that neither model gives the clubface data you are looking for. I can't speak to R10, as I have not used it. Dispersion of my clubs - yes Somewhat accurate spin numbers - yes (with the use of RPT balls) Somewhat accurate club face metrics for random or experimental practice - no Cost - This is subjective, but going into the holidays, there are likely going to be deals Subscription (I don't plan to do any simulator stuff so which would be best as just a raw monitor) - 99/year for MLM, 199/year for MLM2Pro Maybe speed training down the road (have a PRGR for that now but would likely sell it) - The MLM2Pro has it's own speed training function, but also integrates with Stack, Superspeed, Rypstick, etc. Are these really worth it if I am just hitting range balls? - For me, the answer is yes. As the combine feature allows for productive range sessions and the ability to measure your current game against benchmarks. Although, the SIM and Practice Range functions have made hitting balls into a net at home a much more enjoyable experience.

good morning all, Heading into the weekend, looking forward to a couple deliveries. I've got a Sussex from Red Rooster coming, as well as some Mizuno Pro 225 heads arriving. I plan on having the 225's installed on a set of Recoil shafts, thereby scratching a specific itch I have had recently about PD heads/Graphite shafts. I will update the appropriate threads accordingly. have a grand weekend

FYI: There is a Newton member test, that was announced today, that may help you in this decision.

Southwest Golf Ranch is just outside of Lebanon and offers all three of those. I’m already playing in an outing on the 11th, but I’ll see what I can do for the 4th. Shaker Run Golf Club is also a nice track just outside of Lebanon.

The LTDx models can be picked up relatively cheaply and are still pretty good. Check out Callaway Pre-owned, they have other OEM’s gear on there and it’s all cheap and in good shape.

That's not how this works... Make sure to get some nice glamour shots, once you have it.

A couple of recent trips to the local golf shops has me thinking about the Mizuno Pro 245 and PD irons, in general. Not yet ready to act on this infatuation, but definitely interested. Also, swung a ZX7 with a MMT 125 TX shaft and that was awesome, so I’ve started to venture down that particular rabbit hole as well. I have recoils in my T series irons and they are nice. So it makes me curious how MMT’s would play in the blueprint S’s that have been in the bag recently.

MGS VCT Season 3 - Week 21
GolfSpy_BEN replied to GolfSpy_BEN's topic in MGS Virtual Golf Tournaments
Date 09/15/2024 Course Name Majestic Springs Gross Score 77 Course Rating 70 Course Slope 120 Gross Strokes over/under par 6 Birdies or better 1 Longest Drive 320 From a scoring standpoint, it was an utterly mediocre round. Good ball striking, wedges were solid and putting felt good. However, from a cart mate standpoint it was outstanding and the vibes were immaculate. My middle daughter Katie joined me for the round and it was a blast. -

No, you've been doing it right. The score should be gross. After posting scores in 3 separate weeks, a simple handicap is calculated and you are added to a flight I-VI, accordingly. -
Yes! Details will be posted later this week, so stay tuned!

There are no right or wrong answers in this hypothetical. The OP was looking for someone to agree with him that the 17 clubs he carries are essential. To this point, everyone has shaped the available clubs to their own game and discarded those that were superfluous. It’s the beauty of this hypothetical, 5 different golfers will likely have different set-ups.

Date 09/02/2024 Course Name Majestic Springs Gross Score 78 Course Rating 70 Course Slope 120 Gross Strokes over/under par 7 Birdies or better 1 Longest Drive 295 A very meh round, but putter was solid and any day under 30 putts can’t be all bad -

My apologies for the delay. I normally post the weekly thread on Monday mornings, but I had an early tee time today, because of the holiday. Should be up shortly.
