Felt inclined to comment on this topic… I’m an RN moving in an NP role and walk/on my feet 12-14 hours most days. My feet are awful and shoes are a struggle for me. That being said I discovered that ASICS actually sells golf shoes. Specifically one of their best sellers (and the style I wear) for a 1:1 transfer from running shoe to golf shoe. It had changed the game for me walking 9-18 and even days riding 18. I had old Nike golf shoes before these that was really taking a toll on my feet as I was walking 3-10 miles on my days off as well as during the week. Would be interesting if anyone had a similar experience with another brand.

    Hello everyone,
I play at Falmouth CC in Falmouth, ME. It’s a private club that stays open outside until snow “sticks” for >24hr. Last year they didn’t close until mid-Dec and we’re still open currently. They only remove tips and white(senior) and leave Blue, Green, Red. They also have Trackman outdoor range with heated bays as well as Trackman4 indoor set ups. Playing year round in some capacity is convenient and nice to be able to play outside longer than any other courses as they have the grounds crew to do it. Would love to hear about other snowy places and how their courses handle closing.

I think this is a unique question and one I have played with over the last couple years… previously I had up to 4i and 3H with driver at the top. I was finding I was limited on longer par 5 so I liked the idea of a 3W when necessary. In this process i also found a 2i that I custom made and it’s a weapon off the tee. I have occasionally hit it out of the rough or FW when I need less than 3W and more than 4i. I will say hybrids are definitely more versatile. Still comes down to user preference.
