  1. I prefer the BOA look and enjoy being able to maintain a tight/snug fit through the round... I find that I am tightening them up one time per round after initially putting them on. The Adidas BOAs that I have are the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever owned.
  2. I felt every single word of this... Coining #muffintopgolfgear now....
  3. Top 10 in earnings and FedEx Points... 58th by score to par. UGHHHHH
  4. Since Blackberry’s rapid exit, I’m an Apple guy. I always will be due to the ease of using Apple CarPlay. It allows me seamless transition between vehicles and motorcycle. I’ve had Android dating back to T-Mobile’s release of the G1 around OCT 2008. Made the switch to Apple about 6-7 years ago and don’t plan to go back. Ease of use is really it for me. Camera quality has zero interest to me…
  5. Thanks for the suggestion 03... I will head up there Saturday.
  6. Do any of the big retailers have these available to hit, to anyone's knowledge? (PGASS, Dick's, Edwin Watts, etc.) I am in Orlando, FL.
  7. I am not opposed to using a chipper and have tried some with some success. I also am the guy with iron covers, because why follow trends or fit in?? LOL I want to test out the Ping ChipR, but will wait til I see a deal I can't refuse on a left-handed version. It is just not a club I'd be willing to pay full retail for.
  8. I hit these at a Srixon/Cleveland demo event last week in Orlando for the grand opening of the Brian Davis Golf Academy. I have never hit a 7iron better than I did with that club. The combo of ball flight, distance, and confidence were unparalleled by anything I've hit to date. I am going on Feb 3 to another Srixon/Cleveland event here in Orlando to investigate further. I'll report back how that goes...
  9. Last year, playing Falcon's Fire in Kissimmee, FL, and getting ready to tee off. I am playing with 3 guys that can bomb off the tee box and make me look like I'm putting off the box in comparison. The group in front of us is easily 230+ out. They are in two carts, opposite sides of the fairway. You are already probably seeing where this is going. I grab my Driver, the one club I absolutely can't hit to save my life, your life, and certainly not my ex-wife's life. My smarta$$ buddy says "Dude, just hit, you won't be within 50 yards of them". Well, 999 shots out of 1000 that statement, while hurtful and making me want to curl up in the fetal position to cry like a real man, is quite true. Until this shot... I hit this amazing (pure luck) cut that lands center fairway and comes to a stop nearly dead-centered between these two carts that are spread apart on the fairway, as previously mentioned. A very safe distance from the golfers, but in retrospect, enough to piss me off if it happened to me. And so it begins... Mr. Street Fighter took exception to this shot despite us yelling "fore" and "my bad" loud enough that they could hear me. So here he comes, marching up to us on the tee box... I am standing there ready for whatever, but taking accountability that it was a mistake. I know I escalated it when he started screaming that just because I am a pro, I was out of line, etc... I mean, a pro, me??? I told him that was the best shot I had ever hit in my life with no intention of running it up on them. Anywho... between me, my 6'5" buddy, my other guy at 6'+, and the third who was ready to go... he realized this wouldn't end well for him and walked back hollering. Lesson learned that day. Accidents happen and even a terrible golfer, such as myself, can mess up and hit a great shot. I was wrong, but the golf course is the last place I thought I would ever have to pull out the ole jackhammer left hook on someone.
  10. I use them because as a high-handicapper, I know my clubs will have more resale value as I lower my index and upgrade what I am playing. This is one part of the game I truly don't understand the fuss, but man, people's opinion on this can be brutal. Welp... to each their own. No iron glove, no iron love.
  11. This might just have to happen. Wonder what Woodford and black coffee tastes like.... might have to find out!
  12. Should I have laughed as loud as I did at that picture??!! Thank you for the tips... Great advice and needed advice. Not being a seasoned golfer, the tips about distance were appreciated!
