    Hi folks.
    1. I've been playing golf for about 15 years from when I was 10. Then took a break and picked it back up in my mid 30's getting more serious in the last 3 years again. I'm in Australia so my GA is around 20 at the moment. Best score in a stroke comp is 81 (still don't know how) and in a stable ford 42 points.
    2. Love getting in the outdoors and the banter in a round. My job is very results and outcome focused so I also like having golf as an outlet but some thing I can do to focus on the process. That actually helps me in my work.
    3. I came across the equipment reviews on MGS through Google. Love the reviews. Simply brilliant detail and solid info. How good are the ball review and testing. That's awesome. Then for info the podcast and now the forum. I haven't bought anything through the links yet though as many of the companies don't ship to Australia or the shipping cost is ridiculously high.
    3. Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Home course is Glenelg, one of the premium courses here in SA. Up there with Grange Where LIV is played (giving this for reference not division folks). Really love Glenelg. Side from being a great course, it has a really friendly membership base who are very welcoming and always happy to connect.
    4. The worst thing is that because there is a lack of courses in the metro area the cost is quite high. Certainly compared to Melbourne or Sydney. There are also not many public driving ranges/practice areas. We have only just got our first tech focussed range in about October 23 (it's a trackman range). Seriously, where is the investment people.
The best though is that as Adelaide has quite mild winters, you can easily golf 365. Reading or posts from people in the northern hemisphere that is a plus. We also have a lot of interesting courses. Different layouts, type, grasses, wildlife (is that kangaroo out of range?) This like that.
    5. I'm a HR exec for a bit for profit that provides services and employment to people with disabilities. Love my work.
    6. It's something I say after to many shots each round? 😁 Plus I like fallout boy so it was an easy switch for shanks.

I have really struggled to let bad shots go like a "be the goldfish" from ted lasso. What I do is retake the same swing, visualise what I wanted to happen and then put the club in the bag. Retaking the swing helps me identify if I did something wrong technically it with my setup and putting the club in the bag is my mind letting go off the experience and a physical end that lets me reset psychologically.

    Testers Announced!

The TaylorMade Qi10 drivers were one of our most requested products for member testing. It is no surprise to see why, either, with several PGA Tour pros putting them into their bags immediately from launch, and even Colin Morikawa finally replacing his original TaylorMade SIM in favor of the new TaylorMade Qi10 Max. Yes, that’s correct—a tour player using the Max head.
    About The TaylorMade Qi10 Series
The series of drivers consists of three models: the Qi10 Max, Qi10 LS (low spin), and Qi10 Standard. Each has slightly different weight placements, but only the LS model includes a moveable weight.
The big story for these drivers is forgiveness. TaylorMade has created its first driver with 10k MOI points. To read all the finer details of why this matters, you can see our full overview here: TaylorMade Qi10 Drivers First Look
The shorter version is TaylorMade has leveraged a multi-material design, relocated mass, and improved shapes to achieve maximum forgiveness within each model while claiming to still retain all the speed (and therefore distance) characteristics.
Other big changes to the driver include the face and crown. Where previous versions for years had a clear distinction between where the titanium support met the carbon crown, the Qi10 features a clean glossy black crown with a new blue carbon face. The blue replaces the red of the Stealth models and is their third generation of carbon driver face.

Please welcome and congratulate our 6 testers!

Thanks to all who have replied. I think all of you are right that I have to get out of my own head.  @shanksforthememories I forgot about the Ted Lasso “be the goldfish” line.

I don't dwell on bad shots.  I will take a step back and make a few practice swings or motions after a bad shot to get the right frame of mind and then move on down the course to make my next shot.

For me it is simple. The next shot is the next shot. I allow myself a few minutes or seconds to thinking about what I did wrong or should have done. Take my learnings and move on.
I don't dwell on things for long and find it easy to move on.

Why no kick this one off and hope that it ends up being the biggest one! No not a new member but we have to start with someone!
    1. I have been golfing most of my life, but only taking it more seriously the last 5 or 6 years. I've got my handicap down to a 9 and am typically in the low 80s and creep into 70s at my home track. And more importantly I'm a lefty!
    2. I love golf for the ppl you meet along the way and taking time to be outside and enjoying all the different sights and landscapes many courses offer. Shout out to NZ who has many more courses I need to explore!
    3. MGS is my home for everything golf. Although I have been a member here for a while Nunfa0 is the only member I have met in person. It's a great community and keeps me entertained during the winter golf withdrawals.
    4. I'm from Halifax Nova Scotia Canada and play a variety of courses with Lost Creek Golf Club being my home track.
    5. We have world class courses here that are truly stunning ... However we have horrible winter's that seem to never end. Being on the east coast of Canada out weather can be confusing and volatile with more severe storms each year.
    6. I work as an ice technician for curling clubs and events. Different I know but I truly love what I do. Plus summers are my off season!!
    7. Originally I used Danbrook (my last name) however after the year was up I was in need of a change and went with Apolloshowl. Apollo is my pup who is now 6 years old. He is a Alaskan Klee Kai which is a mini husky. He has a really amazing howl that is more like talking and makes me laugh and smile. It's a name I've used for fantasy teams and more and felt very fitting for here. Plus it harks back to my hometown growing up with me growinh up on Apollo road. So lots going on with it!
Looking forward to reading more about my fellow international spy's!
