Just bought 2 irons off of Callaway pre-owned. Some '21 Apex Pro's, not great at striking my 4-5 irons so looking for something towards the top of my bag to give me more consistent distance. Maybe also give me something I can hit off the tee more consistently than my hybrid. Will update with pictures and maybe a mini review once I get them in my hands.

When I see a course without trees I get excited! Although right now my struggle is with my distance control on my wedges and then par 3 performance. Trying to work on mindfulness during the round and hoping that will help, somehow.....Also hoping that mindfulness will help me take my swing I'm working on to the course.

New favorite of mine are these sauteed Daikon radish, if you get them right they have a similar consistency to a nice scallop. You boil them in broth for 10 minutes or so until tender then you finish by sauteeing with garlic and whatever sauce you like (this was dashi, butter, soy, mirin, and sake). e

I feel your pain of hitting FW on turf, I chopped mine way down to help control the low point and then swing it exactly like an iron. It has helped me out a ton but I still rarely ever use it probably from PTSD. Also, soggy conditions over here in the PNW make it very unforgiving to hit FW or hybrid off of the fairway.

Pre-ordered the GP reverse taper putting grips, hoping they allow me to putt like a pro golfer.

I think they were scored Net Par if you had to skip for a valid reason, which would be even worse. What I meant by sandbagging is that from what I've seen on my first couple of rounds posted of 9 holes, that even if I'm playing up to or a little bit better than my average, the differential from the 9 hole will not count. It is like auto-sandbagging if you play 9, and previously it was nearly a penalty (by lowering your handicap) to combine scores. Just seems like they went from one extreme to maybe another, I think we may see some revisions to the differential calculations in a year or two for 9 and 10-17. I have some tournaments coming up so not really complaining lol

Numbers for nearly everything on TV are on the declining or fairly stagnant. I mean wrestlings ratings are way down from their peak and their TV deals are massive nowadays.

Anybody else looking at Meridian putters after this test? Never heard of them before and now I'm tempted to actually get one....

Was looking at this, the links legend and the flextech premium. Good to know they are easy to clean as the Mid-Stripe is a looker. I don't have a LAB putter...yet...so probably could sacrifice some space, just not go down too much or else I'd think about the SL2.

How is this bag holding up for you? My Nike bag is getting a bit tattered and looking a nicer bag that I'm also able to walk with when it isn't too hot out.

We have a few decent places near by, one has a robo waiter that my toddler loves, but the best place is only open for dinner now and is pretty tiny. It also always seems like the newer Ramen places here are high end which I can't wrap my head around.

One of my favorite things to cook is homemade Ramen, bought a pressure cooker just so I can make Pork bone broth. So hard to find decent ramen in the states so only choice really is to try and make it myself.
