At 72 yrs old winter is COLD! My last cover was a pain in the A$$ to deal with. Anyone have a good experience with a cart cover lately? as in: easy on/off?

I like cotton shirts. Harder and harder to find. I usually end up with Brooks Bros or Tommy Bahama. They keep shape forever.

I played my best golf when I was playing wilson, something or other, (can't remember) at $7.99 per dozen. Point is, if it feels good, play it. (This was 15 years ago when I was a 7hcp, the closer you get to "0" hcp, the more it matters.)

I played my best (7hcp) about 10 years ago using a the cheapest Wilson ball there was at the time. $7.99 per dozen. Now I use the new Maxfli balls. I play just one brand of ball trying to remove that variable. I don't think it makes a lot of difference if you are a double digit player

I bought a used ping 7 wood, LOVE IT! Oddly enough it came with a small grip size which felt great. I had been used to medium plus four but the small gave me some feels I had not previously experienced

Driver G400 is out, G430 will be in. Ping and Mizuno Hybrids are on the way out, Don't know who gonna show up. everything else is good. Love the new Maxfli balls from Dick's !!!!!

here in Kentucky (and other states I am sure) you better hit the fairway in the spring or kiss it goodbye. Grass grows really fast and thick. I think, the closer to breaking 80 you get, the more important fairways become. I hit about 50% fairways and 20% greens and I am a 12 handicap. Moving up to the "proper" tees has not helped. My iron/hybrid game just sucks. BUT! This year is going to be different! (says the 70yr old who has been playing 58 years) best I ever played to was a 7 handicap when I was in my 50's. I was using wilson $9 per dozen balls and drove the ball about 250. At that time I hit 60% fairways and 50% greens. So, for me, I need to hit more greens.
