  1. I hate the release cycles of the major equipment companies.
  2. You have put some serious thought into this. We need to set up a go fund me page for you so you can get the capital to build your Field of Dreams golf course.
  3. To quote Larry the Cable Guy. Now that’s funny....I don’t care who you are.
  4. Awesome numbers. Interested to see your new driver swing speed!
  5. Makes total sense. Although I don’t know if I would want to be a left handed golfer. I always hear them complaining that the club they want isn’t available in a LH model.
  6. I love my mini driver on tight holes. Enjoy that club. It looks sweet!
  7. I have been doing a lot of thinking since reading that study. On my golf trip to Florida in a little over a week I am going to do half of the eight rounds without using the line and the other half using the line like I have for the past twenty something years. I track my strokes gained in both putting and the rest of my game. I want to see if there is a difference. I know this is only a study of one and statistically speaking is totally worthless....but the study involves me....and I want to see if there is a difference between the two. I will report back. And your takeaway summarizes it perfectly.
  8. After reading that study, it made me feel like putting is very similar to pin the tail on the donkey. Maybe I would do better blindfolded. Lol.
  9. That is pretty cool. That is about a full club difference for your approach shots.
  10. That is fascinating! Thank you for posting that! I have never seen that study.
  11. Since I have started posting I feel left out. Everyone has badges. I have broken 70 and I have donated multiple times in the past. How do I get a badge????
  12. I like it. That’s like the totally opposite of just about all the responses. Does it bother you on full shots where you can’t move the ball and are stuck with the distraction of the logo?
  13. Does anyone draw a line on their golf ball? I know some people claim it doesn’t help, but I personally find it helpful for alignment. Anyways, I always find the line I draw with a sharpie to be less than straight.....it wears off significantly in a round....you get marks on your club faces (I know...first world problem.). I got six dozen golf balls with the imprinted alignment aid from golfballs.com. I really like this imprinted on the golf ball as it eliminates all the problems that I previously mentioned. Just thought if anyone else uses a line, you might want to check them out. By the way, I do not work for nor do I have any financial interest in golf balls.com. Lol.
  14. I had the very same question when I started as I was afraid that I would learn bad habits. Everyone reassured me to go all out and I do. Some of my left handed swings end up being almost a walk through swing ala Gary Player. I keep practicing my golf swing and mechanics as well....and I haven’t noticed any issues.
  15. A weird thing is happening. My left handed swings are starting to get faster than a lot of my right handed swings. Is this supposed to happen? Was my left side that weak from never using it in a swing? Was my body that imbalanced regarding strength? Anyone else experience this?
  16. I really like the Ping G400 but I had a hard time justifying the price for a new club, so I do what I always do. Wait for the new release. Ping just released the 410 so the new G400 just got slashed $100. New G400 is on the way!
  17. Loves to go golfing with me......
  18. You are correct. This thread is a wealth of information.
  19. Agreed. Products off CGPO are always as described regarding their condition.
  20. Just updated my old Callaway V series Heavenwood with the Rogue Heavenwood. Like new condition from Callaway pre owned website. 25% off. Great Club! I use it for so much during a round.
  21. I just wanted to touch base with you guys and tell you something that I figured out about my golfers elbow that is on my left arm. I recorded my left handed golf swing (not pretty) and I had a severe over the top move. When I was swing speed training last night....I made an effort to feel like I was dropping into the slot on my left handed swings. As a result I felt less tension on the medial epicondyle and my left handed swing speed actually went way up on my swings. Thought anybody just starting out might benefit from this knowledge.
  22. You won’t be sorry. Good luck. I look forward to seeing your progress.
