  1. I have played eight rounds since using this green. My make percentage from 10-15 feet ( my weakness last year according to strokes gained) has gone way up from my older rounds. I save all of my rounds using a strokes gained database so I was able to compare my putting handicap prior to the Little Murph to now. My putting handicap has dropped to +5 (rounded) from scratch level. I am ecstatic. My five foot make percentage is off compared to last year but it is only eight rounds so that sample size is small. But, by that same argument, my sample size is small for my improvement in longer putts. I will update as the year goes on. I used to just putt 5-6 footers in the house to practice on my old green, and I feel this longer green has made a difference.
  2. Make sure you practice. I believe when you get faster....the speed will be harder to control especially if you aren’t practicing. Much like driving a car around a curve at a lower speed versus a faster speed.
  3. These are great clubs. I game the 4 and 5 iron in my bag. I hit the other irons way too high but arrow straight and I am not sure whether that is a function of the club or my increased swing speed from doing super speed golf and I need stiff shafts in the other clubs. I was thinking about switching the shafts to stiff to see what would happen. Anyways. Enjoy the clubs. They are the real deal.
  4. Rev i thought I was noticing a drop off in speeds during maintenance; however, I hit a couple of new records during last session. On the course on Thursday I carried a dogleg right that I never have before(that makes two doglegs now) and got accused of using an illegal ball by my buddy who hasn’t seen my increased speed yet.
  5. If you like....I have a used mat that I will happily sell you at a discount
  6. Maybe I shouldn’t have vacuumed mine. I used mine for 30-40 putts each day for a year before it became defective. So I guess on a cost analysis basis the per putt cost was quite effective. Lol.
  7. Yes. My mat is useless because it has a track right down the middle of it. I vacuumed it all the time to prevent it....but to no avail.
  8. Welcome aboard! You will be pleased. I have real world results today. Dogleg left hole with a bunker on the left hand side with a 230 yard carry and the ball will trundle further down the hill towards the green. Go to the right and the ball just runs off into the rough unless you have a good slinging draw going on! I have NEVER carried this bunker in 20 years of playing this golf course....until today!
  9. Good thought! I am used to the incline now. It comes in handy for chipping onto the mat as it does slow the ball down.
  10. This is why I don’t play in those events...,and I never play anyone for money unless it is straight up
  11. There is a range near my office that I used to hit balls at during lunch for the first couple of years after they opened. They never bought new balls and after a while I was hitting golf balls with dimples that were almost completely worn off....got sick of it one day after seeing every possible ball flight imaginable with the same swing...and have never been back. So yes.....your study proposal would provide some fascinating results. Lol
  12. Ok. Here is my mini review for all of you. I had previously had an inexpensive putting green in my basement. I won’t name any names. I loved it at first. Great roll, inexpensive, and you could roll it up if needed. Then...even with vacuuming it on a regular basis....it developed a groove right down the center and I couldn’t miss a putt even if I tried. Now normally I wouldn’t complain about this on a real golf course, but on my practice green where I am supposed to be hitting a line with every putt...this doesn’t provide much feedback. I figured this was like everything else in life....if you want a quality product that will hold up, then you have to spend some money. I looked at the greens which were featured on mygolfspy in a head to head comparison. I also wanted a green that I could chip onto that would still be portable and be able to be moved with minimal effort. So....after some internet research, I settled on the Little Murph from Truline Greens. Their customer service was great when I called with a question. The box arrived, I unrolled the green and was putting within five minutes. Surprisingly, it flattened out very easily. It gives a true roll and it is constructed of quality material. The only thing that I don’t like is that the last three feet of the green is uphill so they can place a “cup” into the green. The uphill thing isn’t a deal breaker though...it just feels different right now. I give this product an A and I would purchase it again. It is pricey, but I am hoping that it will last.
  13. I love my TM aeroburner mini driver. I am afraid to demo this club as I know it will cost me $399 plus tax......
  14. I have a Vessel stand bag. Awesome bag! Thanks for sharing.
  15. Thanks for the Randy Jones link. That was a good read!
  16. Welcome aboard. You will enjoy your new speed and distance like a kid in a candy store! This is also a treasure chest of information for any training questions that you have.
  17. I am happy to say that I have broken out of my plateau. I knew something good yesterday when I played with someone who always outdrives me. I was blowing it by him on several holes. It was wet and I got zero roll. I was getting yardages on the fly that I normally get with carry and roll. Today...I broke multiple personal records. I had 107 with red stick on regular swing and I hit 124 with left handed step change swing.
  18. I was thinking my swing speed radar may be broken. It doesn’t register above 120. Lol.
