  1. the Judge is the obvious choice here
  2. I only wear bucket hats (bald guy problems)....very comfortable and better sun protection than a baseball hat....and you don't end up with this: I have many, some I like more than others.....the UA ones are probably my favorite, I also have a Callaway one I like a lot
  3. Definitely some kind of Masters pick 'em is always good Maybe start a 'post of the month' or 'review of the month' type prize Looks like MGS is obtaining new swag, i think those make great prizes (and good advertising when the winner is wearing/using those items.) Especially some of the headcovers I've seen on social media in the past, but they haven't been for sale
  4. considering the low price...i think trying a sleeve of each is the way to go for sure Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  5. Tried Gray and Blue both this weekend.....Really digging the blue.....not seeing any distance loss over my lower compression balls (or if it is, not noticeable)...and the spin is CRAZY......chips/pitches checking noticeably more than with my DUO U's and was spinning the crap outta full shots.......Had a PW from the ROUGH spin back 6" and a 9i from the fairway that took one bounce forward then put on the breaks and came back about 5 feet.......definitely holding the green better as well.......This may be my new ball.....I did struggle putting all weekend, not sure if maybe it's a little 'hotter' off the clubface or I just had a bad putting weekend.....even if it is, that would just take a little getting used to. The Gray was decent, would put it more on par with what i have been playing, doesn't spin anywhere near the blue.
  6. great.....I think I may prefer the lower compression gray....BUT, if they are as good as advertised, either way I'm saving almost 1/2 (DUO U's are 38 retail, softer still than the gray, but doubt i'm good enough to notice)
  7. thanks for sharing this....I got my trial sleeves monday (1 gray 1 blue) and hope to try them out this weekend.......Looks like you can only get trials of the gray right now, curious what the price will be per dz...assume less than or equal the blue
  8. give the Epic a demo...might be the one for you too Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  9. that particular drive was high, and just seemed to be in the air for an eternity Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  10. i would say more carry, actually....i'm getting the ball up more, have it +1* because i've had a habit of hitting line drives...and yes, the 2nd i hit one like that i know it, you can feel it 'jump'....i have a ton of confidence on the tee now Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  11. When I hit the sweet spot....it GOES!!! The SS is from the simulator I was on, couldn't speak to how accurate it is, just recorded what it said. I am not a big hard swinger, I do 'go after' one occasionally.......I'm tall, 6'3", certainly gives me an advantage on length, I can get more SS with less effort due to width (as I understand it)
  12. having that combo in my bag has been a bit of a game changer for me
  13. I love it, actually bought it before I got the driver. Was thinking about adding a FW to my bag (only had hybrids)...hit about 5-6 of the main players at a demo days, and it was no contest whatsoever. It has translated to the course nicely, the bad ones off it are 100% my fault, usually topping it a touch...but the good strikes are remarkable, 220-230 straight as an arrow.
  14. look forward to hearing your thoughts....I just ordered a trial sleeve or Blue and the new Grey....should be here tomorrow......I'll add my thoughts here after i get a chance to try 'em out if you don't mind
  15. I seriously doubt there is a driver that would fit me better, to be honest....haha, maybe I was too harsh on the range/course score.......Maybe I just feel nothing is perfect, but this is damn close
  16. LOP, was mainly due to the price tag, if I had to buy it out of pocket......Looks/Feel I would have liked the alignment on top to be a little more prominent, and not a fan of the headcover ( i know, it's really picky)......I probably could have given it full points on the range/course....BUT, to me, that may be something that could never happen, I can and do hit bad shots with it, of course that's the swing......It's damn close to the perfect driver, for me and my swing...maybe I should have given it full points on the range/course, but I guess to me, that means there could never be a better driver built. Everyone has there own way of giving out the points I suppose.
  17. forgot to list this in stage 2, but I currently have the hosel set at +1 loft and neutral, with weight slid most of the way towards draw......it seems to be the setup that's working best for me
  18. I would agree, it can def point you in the right direction......it actually fit me to the shaft I ordered, BUT I still tried it out first
  19. it's certainly a great driver, my biggest knock was the $$ on LOP, as you read........is it worth $500 out of pocket, that's the question
