  1. Have been wanting a nicer push cart because I plan on walking a lot more next year. Currently have a 3 wheel Caddytek that works ok, but has some drawbacks. Couple things I wanted from a new cart: 1. more upright, so the clubs don't lay right on top of the console, like my current one 2. some way of making the umbrella higher, I'm kind of tall, so I keep hitting my head on it 3. Easy fold and unfold. I saw the Quad Xl in my local golf shop and felt it met my needs (there is an available umbrella holder extension! you have no idea how excited I was for this) So I decided I would probably give this one a go, when I got a good deal on it. Then came along RockBottom....cart is normally $200 everywhere, but they have it at $170 and gave me a 24% off....So I scored it for about $130 and picked up the deluxe umbrella holder (which is required for the extension, they didn't have the extension, so i will pick that up on amazon) It was super easy to put together, basically unfold it and snap the wheels on, prob took less than 2 minutes As you can see, when folded down, it is pretty small (driver for scale) One thing I could tell right away, is everything about it is high quality, the frame, wheels, console, etc.... Folding/Unfolding couldn't be easier.....unlock the handle, pull a quick lever and done...hopefully this video shows up https://youtu.be/XSCHguWN8-E It definitely fits my want of holding the bag more upright, the clubs are no longer in the way of the console If you have any questions about it, let me know......I'm extremely happy with my purchase and can't wait to get it on the course!
  2. latest purchase....a steal at 130 from rockbottom..very happy Sent from my SM-G900V using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  3. I think you did a good job SuperDave That thread is a bit of a trainwreck, looks like some guys didn't even bother to do a stage 1. You're always going to have some people who just want a freebie, but at least put a little effort into it. It actually pisses me off quite a bit. If you want companies to continue to provide products for testing, they have to see that MGS is living up to it's end of the bargain. PlaidJacket, I somewhat agree with what you are saying, certainly, if a big company/opportunity is on the line, MGS staffers may want to be a little bit more selective. However, if you never give anyone that's somewhat new a chance, you'll never know what they can contribute (it's a bit of a catch-22). I have spoken a bit on the side with a staffer or 2, I can pretty much guarantee anyone that does something like that won't get a chance to again. Edit: I should also add the positive, seems like 99% of everyone follows through, it's the 1% that sticks out like a sore thumb

  7. I've been using mine a fair amount, really like the feel and workout I get.....can't say if there's any gain as of yet
  8. I don't think you will be disappointed in the DUO U, I wouldn't mind giving the Duo Spin a go at some point as well.
  9. I'd say that's a pretty nice win! DUO U is my ball of choice
  10. SunMountain C130 cart bag.....local shop had them almost $50 off (newest model)....it's the Green/White if you can't tell very well from the pic
  11. Questions: 1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews? (Please list which ones.) Purchased an M1 Driver, based on the most wanted driver and a personal demo.....and I may be buying the Precision Pro rangefinder in the near future based on the review thread 2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golfequipment? I no longer take the manufacturers word for everything, and read MANY reviews from different sites, especially this one....we all know some of those words are bought and paid for 3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.) I am hitting the M1 very well, I couldn't say if it has actually lowered my scores or by how much....but I do have a great deal of confidence with it 4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How? I enjoy the game no matter what, but having a driver you love and are confident in, is always a pleasure
  12. update, got my orange whip and have been using most nights for about 10 min or so 2 thoughts 1. it's much heavier than i thought, i expected it to just be a little heavier than a driver, but it's more like having a softball attached to the end of a whippy shaft 2. It's a pretty decent workout, doesn't take long for my wrists/forearms to get a little tired. Whether it helps with my swing, will remain to be seen
  13. I ordered an Orange Whip...should be here today.....let you guys know what I think after I get some work in with it
  14. I've been considering an Orange Whip...only other thing I have are alignment rods......I see one above likes the Whip, anyone else?
