in regards to the "data gathering mode" and getting the distance,one possible solution is to identify shots hit as say #1,#2..etc and then to tag the distance go to the appropriate ball that was shot #1 #2 etc. and at each one identify it as such. one possibility.

Went out for a quick nine. Hole #5 Par 5 516 yds. Water hazard in front. Was 100 yards out just to the side of a tree with overhead branches. Played it safe and aimed left to clear the branches and still land it on the green. Hit the branches and it dropped straight down. ok. now the branches are not in the equation. 52 degree wedge again. Plunk. right in the water. Went over and positioned myself 65 yards from the stick.Plunk. In the water again. Instead of hitting for a GIR, I'm hitting over the water for 8. My shots of the day. Today went to do some more data collection at the range for the Ping i500 and hit a few drivers. I finally remembered to take the vegetable oil. Now, if i could only do this on the golf course

The clubs are very nice looking. The yellow grips and the graphics on the driver is absolutely sweet. do you guys feel a difference with the medallion at the back as opposed to your regular clubs. i am thinking it would be harder to shape shots? But, see my next post
