Shot a 71 today. best round of the year. only chipped two times all day which was something new. Missed 5 greens total but was just off the fringe on three so I putted. 77 today with 33 putts and a triple. Just couldn't roll anything in. Basically made one putt. Was leaving everything short on greens that weren't that slow all together. 76 today. 8 pars on the front and one three putt. Make the turn and double 10 and bogey 11...then have 7 iron into a par 5 and make par, birdie 13, miss a 3 footer for birdie on 14 and can't get get up and down on short par 4 for birdie on 15...doh! Shoot 37-39...can't complain too much Also should add I played with Snell ball all day and boy was I surprised. I played the MTB for 10 holes and was very pleased. Almost spins too much! Can't tell that it's any longer than any other high end ball, with irons I don't think it is, driver is hard to tell bc I haven't hit tee ball well in awhile. Played Get Sum for last 7 and was happy with it too. It backs up to the pitch mark and that's about it but pleased again. Very impressed. Shot 79 today with a triple. Started off slow, tight, and sleepy and was +5 after 6. Never hit the driver in the face so I scrambled around for the 79. Took $11 from my dad who I give him 3 a side. $5 a side plus overall and $1 for birdies. Got him on the front and pushed on the back and by 3 overall. When I hit down on it then I get a low start that spins up. Goes straight but I lose distance obviously. I was launching it tonight. Thank you so much for posting this video!! I've always believed in shoulder tilt with the driver and focused on getting my head behind the ball. However I've really been struggling. I've never used track man but I'm pretty sure I usually hit down on the ball with the driver so negative attack zone. Today at the range I put this drill in place and never hit it better. Shot 79 today...36-43...really limped in coming home. Started with 6 straight pars, birdie, par, bogey on front. Front should've been a couple under. Struggled on back putting it in play on the "layup" tee shots where are hitting 4i or 3 wood off tee. Ended up having to make a 5 footer to shoot 79. Decent day but let it get away. I grew up never getting to hit range balls before playing and it was fine bc I was young. Started playing high school matches, still no range balls because we had to get started at like 4pm. Got to college and had to learn how to warm up before a round and what the range is actually for! Lol and now unless it's a tourney I still don't hit balls before a round. Just got back into actually tracking handicap the last month or so on the Grint app. I only have about 8 scores entered and 4 of them are tourneys where I hit it like a dog but I went from 8.8 to 7.1. Last year I birdied 3,4,&5 and missed a 5 footer on 6 for birdie.
