The funniest part is when my wife got done my daughter asked why she shaved a "V" shape on my forehead. I didn't realize my hairline was headed backwards as much as it was.

My bag pretty much looks just like the OP. Shaved 5 strokes of my handicap when I switched to the Launchers from Mizuno Hot Metal irons. I don't care what my clubs look like or what people think and I really don't care what other people play. I went to True Spec to get fit for new irons and they couldn't beat the Launchers. Not that I haven't flirted with other clubs since I started with the Launchers but nothing has been close to beating these for me.

I've been using the Duo Pro and really like it as well. It is very consistent for me with all my clubs. High compression balls like the XV are great off my hybrids and driver but I seem to lose some distance with my irons. I'll compare that as well.

I'll test it against the Duo as well to make Russtopherb happy as well.

I went with 007 because I watched a James Bond movie the other night. Yeah, I guess that makes me that guy! I will test it against the ProV1x and Srixon Z Star XV. The XV still holds the Wedgie SkyTrak house record for ball speed and the V1x holds the spin record.

I looked and they did not say on the website or at least I couldn't find it. I will report back on that as well because at that price point I will buy American made before buying another box.

I don't know if anyone read today's blog but Wilson announced a new ball and a subscription plan. Read the blog if you want the details but I ordered a box because I like Wilson. When reviewing the balls the Wilson site said ships in 3-5 days. Once I got deep into the order process it told me they would ship in 5 weeks. Whatever, I'll put them thru the paces and report back. In the meantime is anyone else going to give these a shot?

It has not been an issue for me for the most part. The only time it misses a shot is when I hit my 56 degree wedge straight up like a flop shot. By moving the ball about an inch in front of the red dot when hitting this shot I never have an issue but my ceiling does. Everyone says use brand new white balls only and I have used red, orange, green, yellow and white without issue. Another thing is my son was having trouble getting shots to register when he was wearing grey sweatpants. Changed his pants and problem solved.

I say go full on SkyTrak. With the game improvement package you get WTG Golf which gives you 9 or 10 courses to play. For me playing the courses is the best part. I know you can do a lot more with the system than I am but it is a great way to get started. WTG also gives you par 3, 4 and 5 challenges. I'm sure the higher end golf software is better but since you got approval from the higher up you may need to tread lightly. Where else can you play 36 in an hour? Year round golf has made it much easier for me to survive the global shutdown and although I prefer outdoor golf, I'm not twitching because I can't get out to play.
