  1. Not my current gamer (Mizuno Mcraft V), but still one of my favorites.
  2. I am to have a growing collection of putters, not sure why I keep them all to be honest. Maybe I just didn't feel like they would sell/trade in for much? Being retired military, I know I found some to be better for me at different locations/conditions. I have a never compromise sub30, Nike method, Nike method counterweight, Ben Hogan baby Ben, Ben Hogan the Hawk, and currently in my bag is the Mizuno m craft V.
  3. I have been doing allot of testing to see which ball I want to use, right now it is between the MTB Black and Vice Pro.... This makes me lean more towards Snell. I love companies like this that care about the customer enough to have this much transparency. Will have to order their lifestyle snapback hat with my next order, looks really breathable and I need that in the Georgia heat and humidity.
  4. I am trying to work on the same thing, and seem to be discovering what I am doing wrong in different steps. First was that my right elbow (I am a righty) was getting away from me in the backswing, so I focused on keeping that right elbow tucked close during the backswing, which helped a bit, but not totally as I still come over the top (just not as bad, as it is harder to do). Now I am trying to get the right elbow to stay tucked in the downswing. Seems when I try and go after it, my upper body just takes over. So what is helping (I hope) is doing my swing with a small towel or extra golf glove between my right arm and body, and not let the towel/glove drop before contact. On the course I am really trying to visualize my swing path with practice swings and commit to that path on the actual swing (without trying to muscle up on it. I admit as well, I need a lesson (several several lessons).
  5. I am a data guy, and just got the MEVO launch monitor. I love this thing. Hitting at the range it seems very accurate as well (perhaps not spin, as you can see in a few reviews, but it still gives you something to use as a baseline if you are tinkering around with weights and such trying to lower or raise spin). I use it at the range to get additional feedback (smash factor, carry distance, club head speed, ball speed), and out back at home hitting into a net where the only real feedback otherwise is the feel of the shot.
  6. Just added Cobra speed zone Xtreme driver, r flex, set at 9.5 degrees Cobra speed zone 14.5 degree 3 wood, r flex Cobra speed zone 3 hybrid, r flex Wilson d7 forged 4i-pw. +.5 length, 1 degree upright, lbs $-taper lite r flex Cleveland rtx 588 rotex 2.0 wedges. 52 (bent to 50), 56 (bent to 55), and 60 Mizuno mcraft V putter Taylormade tour response ball
  7. Thanks Chisag! I used to play the TP blacks, but my swing was faster also. Might have to find a sleeve of the TP5xs. Ugh, instead of narrowing down options, I am adding.
  8. For those using the TP5s, what is your swing speed? Mine with driver is 95-98 mph, so I have been thinking that I will stick with the Zstar, or try either the B330rx, chrome soft, or qstar tour. Just seems like a lot of options, and a lot of money
  9. I may have to try the chrome soft again. Bought a two pack at a tourney earlier in the year and liked them. I keep flip flopping on if I prefer a softer ball, or a firmer one. Right now I kinda feel the Z star is right in the middle.
  10. I am messing around right now ball wise. Trying the B330S,RX, and the Z Star. Going to go out early next week and play a round or two. So far I think I like the Z Star over the B330S... but want to try the RX as well.
